At Lighthouse Canine Behaviour, we are dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and their humans through compassionate, evidence-based behavioural support.

We are based in Portishead and support clients in North Somerset and the surrounding areas.

Sadie has an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour and a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, and is an associate Clinical Animal Behaviourist with the APBC and CCAB. She has over 16 years of experience working with dogs, including 8 years spent working in the rescue sector.

She specialises in understanding the underlying causes of behavioural challenges and recognising that every dog is an individual shaped by their learning history, physical health, genetics, emotional stage and environment.

By identifying the root causes and motivations behind behaviours, rather than just treating the symptoms, she ensures that each dog receives support and a behaviour plan that is tailored, ethical and effective.
