I have used Dan from Lek-Trix for a number of jobs at home. His work is always of an excellent standard. Dan discusses in detail the scope of the work beforehand and offers proactive advice and suggestions. He is excellent at problem-solving. He always provides a written quotation and completes the the job in a timely fashion. He follows-up on the work afterwards and always gives a final, comprehensive, written invoice. He is always responsive to an urgent request for help. In summary, I have always found Dan completely reliable, trustworthy and honest and would highly recommend him as an electrician.

Dan presents well and was employed on good recommendation. He was pleasant to have in the house, was tidy and trustworthy. The standard of his work seems good, although I don't know how to judge that in the long term. He is, however, incredibly erratic to communicate with and the standard of this significantly deteriorated as the job went on. The result was that Dan completed the main body of the work but then left the job with some issues outstanding and became impossible to reach by phone. The upshot is that there are still some tasks unfinished which will incur further expense in terms of both money and time. This is all despite over twenty calls (and messages left) to Dan over several weeks to which he has made no response at all. I definitely will not be employing him again. This seems like a shame and an unnecessary conclusion; we have paid him a very large amount of money and the ultimate upset caused could have been avoided with more honest and conscientious communication. The remaining work would have cost Dan very little (in every sense) and is, in essence, a matter of simply fulfilling the obligation for which he has been paid in full.Moreexpand_more

Dan and Dave have done a couple of fairly major jobs for me while I have been refurbishing my house. They provided a thoroughly professional service from coming round to quote all the way through to completion. The first job was the installation of two ring mains on both floors of my house and several other alterations with extra lights and moving switches etc. I was more than happy to leave them in the house during the day knowing that when I came back from work there would be no mess and lots of progress! Six months later I was replacing the kitchen and called back Dan and dave to do the work. Again the work was faultless with one visit and they were very tolerant of my very shifting timescales!

Dan and David have carried out rewiring at my business premises and extensive work on our Victorian house. Their work is always carried out very professionally as they obviously are both very knowledgable and experienced. They both always take time to explain what would be best to do and have always been patient when doing so. They feel very comfortable to be around from a female perspective which I feel is very important when tradesmen how to spend time in your home. I would highly recommend them and have done so to friends and business acquaintances.

I would definitely recommend Lek Trix services. Dan was able to offer good advise for my hallway lighting, helped me select appropriate fittings and completed the work quickly. The companies standards are high with quality workmanship, even taking the time to clean the area they were working in thoroughly when the job was complete. The initial quote was very reasonable, however when the job was finished sooner than originally thought, Dan adjusted the price to reflect this! I will be using Lek Trix in the future.

Dan and Dave at Lek Trix have sorted out all our electrical problems since we moved into our new house in Clifton two years ago. They are skilled, efficient, good value and totally reliable. Adam.

We moved a few years back had some building work done but found the electrian we were using very unreliable, saw Lek Trik van parked next door so gave them a ring. Dan and Dave came round next day and informed us our electrics were very dodgy and they went out of there way to make sure it was all safe. We've used them ever since finding them very punctual, polite and very good at their job ( giving very reasonable quotes aswell) and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them for any electrical job big or small.

Great service, arrived promptly and gave good advice on what would work best in our house. Would definatley recommend.

Lek Trix were asked to replace a very old Fuse box in a cottage and replace with the modern trip etc. They were excellent in how they dealt with and overcame all the problems that such an old property threw at them. This they did without grumbling and I was very pleased with their work. I am happy to recommend them.

The team were very punctual, curtious and very helpful. What was asked off them they delivered professionally. Would have no hesitation in using them again, or recommending their services to anyone. 5 star service with a smile.

I called Lek-Trix when I was told by British Gas that I needed a complete re-wire of my house. The guys managed to carry this out at my convenience and cleaned up thouroughly every day. I was kept fully informed at all times and any questions I had were explained in great detail. I was more than happy to leave them a key to my house for them to carry on working when I was not about. Very friendly, trustworthy and reliable guys. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Dan and Dave have been quick to respond to all our electrical emergencies since we moved into our new house and they were great at communicating and arranging a good time to come and sort things out. They were thorough and good at explaining what needed to be done, showing us evidence where they could so we understood what was being done - I found that really useful as a lay person. They put in a new switchboard, new switches indoors and outdoors to make our circuits safe, tested and certified the electrics, replaced faulty switches and replaced old cabling and wiring with safer solutions. All in all we were really pleased with their service and would be happy to recommend lek trix.

The light in my bathroom broke, making a trip to the loo rather challenging! Lek Trix were able to work around my schedule and visit at a time that was convienant for me. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly (a loose connection in the pull cord). A courteous and professional company. I would recommend them!

I had my whole house re-wired; both David and Dan were brilliant from the time they quoted me until the completion of the job. Nothing was too much trouble. If I hadn't have seen the mess during the day, you could wonder what they had done all day - the mess that was caused was fully cleaned up every night before they went home, even though I told them to leave it! It was almost as if they hadn't been there. Oh, I was worried about moving the larger items they told me to leave them as they would move them (which they did) and replaced them each night. Each day new wires sprouted from walls and ceilings the electric's were left running once they left, and talk about above and beyond duty one Friday evening they stayed working until 9:30pm, yes pm, so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced over the weekend. Great lads 10/10 I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to you.
