We called Leicester Plumbers for an emergency water leak that was causing a damp patch on our dining room ceiling. Simon came in about one hour and identified the problem straight away. The central heating pipe needed a joint replaced which he did with minimum upheaval and left the house tidy and clean. I would recommend Leicester Plumbers.
I manage a commercial office block in Leicester City Centre, Simon has done some plumbing work for us on our 6th floor. His work was to a good standard in fairness however in error our accounts department has paid him twice for the same work. I have since made numerous calls/emails and texts to Simon to which he initially replied to and said he would refund the over payment of £790. 00. Unfortunately since then he has avoided all forms of communication with our company. Very disappointed - as per other reviews we were expecting to have a professional and honest tradesperson carry out this work for us, unfortunately not the case. Willowland Ltd.
I contacted Simon at Leicester Plumbers on a Friday evening as my elderly mother's loo flush had broken. He went round to see her within 30 minutes of my call and was able to order the part online and repair the loo flush on the Sunday. My mother and I are both extremely happy with the service provided and the value for money. Simon was professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. We would definitely recommend him to others.
I contacted Simon due to an overflow in my shower. It was not an emergency but a rectification of a previous erroneous installation (actually, something wrong made at the time of the building aggravated by a subsequent shower installation I committed a few years ago). Simon has been very prompt and proposed an initial visit on a Sunday. Simon engineered an ingenious solution to access the pipes without breaking the tiles: he accessed to the pipes through the ceiling downstairs. Simon's work had a minimal impact on the property. The work was carried out promptly and rapidly. I am absolutely satisfied with the outcome! To my understanding, Simon is a very skilled plumber with an evident capability of thinking outside the box. The work has been carried out over three days. Day 0: trace and find which did not lead to an access to the pipes (less than 2h, 1 man).Day 1: cut of the ceiling, access to the pipes, replacement and redesign of the pipes (2.5h, 2 men + 1h, 1 man + 0.5h, 2 men).Day 2: closing of the ceiling and removal of the debris (less than 2h, 2 men). Total time to resolve the issue: 13 man-hours Price paid: £845 inclusive of the material (pipes, connectors, plasterboard, other glue).I felt the price was reasonable but I have not asked for any other quote. Maybe I could have got a cheaper price but I am not confident it would have come with an effective and clean solution of the same level. As a further consideration, I felt that the two men team was very efficient and quickly resolved issues that would have taken much longer to some other worker. Conclusion: Simon is a remarkably skilled plumber and reliable worker. I am planning to contact him again in the future.Moreexpand_more
The toilet was overflowing and I couldn't fix it myself. Called out this plumber, and everything was completed within an hour after I'd called him. The charge was very reasonable. Actually, I'd used this plumber before for a different job and I knew he was reliable and wouldn't rip me off.
Found Leicester Plumbers on Google, always a bit hard to know for sure who and what you are going to get in terms of service and final product when you are on the internet looking for the right company to use. However Simon provided great service and standards, would recommend and based on this experience will be doing more work for me in the future. This is someone you can trust to get the job done correctly.
Very prompt response to two problems – new taps to be fitted and faulty shower. Straightforward about the labour charge (very reasonable). Best thing about Simon was that he was happy to explain the problem and discuss options for fixing it which I felt displayed his honesty. I’m very happy to have found him and would definitely recommend.
I have used Simon before to fix my toilet cistern and he did a great job then. This time I called Simon to fix my bathroom tap. I called him at 9pm and he arrived at 9:30pm and had the tap fixed in about 15 minutes. I thought the tap had dislodged from the pipe but Simon assured me this was not the case and he could fix it. The tap no longer leaks and is much easier to turn on and off. He charged me slightly less than usual as it was not a long job but the price seemed very fair considering the time and I have no complaint. Simon is always very polite and explains what needs doing and is very re-assuring. He also gives good advice on how to avoid the same issue recurring. I will use him again.
Cold water tank was overflowing so I kept turning off the stop tap waiting 2 weeks for another plumber to respond. After the stop tap started leaking as well, I called this plumber. He came in 20 minutes, explained everything, and fixed both problems in an hour or so. Very honest guy, charges reasonably, I could not recommend a better plumber. Walter H.
Service with a smile - with honest advice and does whatever is required from a Plumber. Competitive and reasonably priced. Supply (£120) and Fit a shower over bath = £80 labour. The job was a replacement - like for like with compatible wiring by a different brand. Turns up at agreed time (if late, will let you know eg/ text ). Very reliable and courteous. Highly recommended.
