LeFunk! Is an exceptionally good value, yet highly experienced covers band based in Manchester and specialising in exciting, high energy versions of classic funk, soul and disco dance hits from the 70s and 80s, but also some older and newer songs to provide something for all ages. The band is based in Manchester UK.

Ideal for venues of any size from small parties to hotel events, formal or informal. The band will dress appropriately, before and during the performance to suit your requirements. LeFunk! Do not use backing tracks or pre-recorded parts.

Can also provide an experienced DJ. PA can be used to play music sourced from a laptop (IPod, MP3 player) in between performances.

LeFunk! Will learn any song! .

The band has its own new 2K PA with separate mixes for front of house and on stage monitoring. It also has its own stage lighting rigs. What this means in practice is that the sound is clear and hi fidelity while powerful and pumping enough to provide for a dancing audience of up to 300 people in an indoor environment. For larger venues or outside events where a PA is not provided, the band can still play, but will hire in additional equipment, the cost of which would be added to the overall fee.

Benn (drums) is a Royal Northern College of Music graduate. He has played around the UK in all styles - e.G. ‘Music Live’ at The Birmingham National Exhibition Centre, Manchester Academy, Manchester Club Academy, RNCM.

Dean (bass/voc) has 30 years of experience, in a writing/recording partnership. Co-founder of Birmingham-based 60s band Tobacco Road in the 1990s.

Anna (Keys) is classically trained and a Graduate of Salford Uni (Pop Music and Recording). Her venues have included Longfield Suite, Wolverhampton Racecourse, Roadhouse, Club Academy, Ruby Lounge, Night and Day and more.
