Laminate Master

Avoid this company! Our new floor started lifting only after a few weeks. Steve the owner/fitter failed to turn up several times, then without seeing it told us it was due to damp and we would need to pay to sort it. Turned out he had glued the floor down in places causing it to lift. We were then told Steve was in prison, leaving his wife Laura to run the business, who again said we needed to pay to sort the floor as she couldn’t afford to. She eventually sent another fitter to relay part of the floor. We now have a floor where the pattern is 10mm out in places, several gaps between boards which he tried to hide with filler, 2 damaged boards were laid and again filler used to try hide damage. There are burn marks where he has trimmed boards, has not fitted skirtings or new door architraves which the previous fitter had cut off. The fitter admitted ours was one of several jobs he was being sent to try and rectify which Steve had made a mess of. After 5 months of trying to get Laminate master to sort the floor which we paid several thousand pounds for, it looks like we will have to pursue legal action to get our money back. .Moreexpand_more

I can’t recommend this company highly enough, every detail of my dealings with them was perfect from price and quality of the product I purchased to the after sales care and even the return of unused packs, the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful and always there if I needed assistance, it was so nice to find a company that didn’t want to just take your money and forget you.

Great service and finished product. From choosing the floor we wanted in the showroom to having our new floor installed great service and workmanship all-round. Would thoroughly recommend Laminate Master.

Couldn't score them anything as they never showed up to give us a quote. We went into the shop looked over the floor that we wanted booked for a fitter to come round to give us a price for our ensuite and bathroom. So the day they were suppose to come round after 4pm we got a call at 1830 saying that he only just got home and that could we rearrange another time so we did for the Thursday and again no showed up with no phone call explaining why so with this we rang the shop Friday morning and spoke to the fitters and arranged for them to come round on the Saturday morning and yet again we had another no show but we did receive a call and rearranged again for today and again the time is 1800 and still no show! Very disappointed with this company.

Had my entire ground floor replaced by Laminate Master, removed existing carpets and wooden floor. Excellent work and would definitely recommend them.

Contacted over a laminate flooring problem caused by another installer. Laminate Master was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in assisting me to sort out the problem even though it was nothing to do with any work they had carried out. Its nice to speak to someone who knows their job! Thanks.
