Born and raised in Nottinghamshire, Kris has been developing and exhibiting her artwork since 2001, working from a large attic studio at home.
In my new series of paintings my inspiration is derived from the aerial views I've had the privilege to witness as well as the tranquil embrace of the picturesque scenery that lies just beyond my doorstep.
In a world that often demands linear thinking and practicality, I find art provides a valuable space for emotional well-being. My mood is elevated and the confusion of everyday life takes a back seat as I concentrate on placing paint on a canvas.
Kris has won a number of awards including a Clairefontaine award and The Artist exhibition award.
Through my art, I invite you to join me on a journey of reflection and contemplation.
