Brian and the team have done another amazing job for us. Planning and building a detached garage/workshop. Everyday the site was left tidy. Once again great job thanks to you all.

What can I say, another fantastic job done for us from Brian and his Team. 3 windows removed from one gable end bricked up, insulated and plastered inside and rough casted outside perfect, would not ever know there were windows there. Also part of the job was to repair our front outside steps which were crumbling, once again Brian went the extra mile advising how best to repair without it costing a total rebuild. Once again Brian can’t rate you and your team highly enough. Stay safe and you will be back next year for another job.

Having been ripped off before by so called tradesmen I was a bit reluctant to have another builder do some home improvements for me. I was pleasantly surprised by Brian and the guys. They were very friendly and efficient. The work was carried out in the agreed time scale to an excellent standard. All in all I was very pleased with the whole experience and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Brian and his team did an exceptional job for me. Brian was very professional, extremely helpful and high quality workmanship was always at the forefront of what he was doing. I had a fair bit of work done to my roof including a full clean, new gutters, repairs to slates, painting and a repair to brickwork. The finished job was amazing and has made such a difference to the look of the house. A very happy customer and I'll use Brian and his team again in the future for any roof work and building work.

I had a leak in my slate roof which various tradesmen over the years had supposedly fixed to no avail. Brian found the cause for the leak,gave me a reasonable quote and fixed the problem. After some days of heavy rain I am satisfied that the leaky roof has been properly fixed. Brian turned up when he said he would, kept me fully informed and tidied up after the work. I would have no hesitation using his services again.

Emailed Kirkland Contracts for a quote to repair my roof. Brian came the next day and work was carried out the following week. Brian and his team are reliable, dedicated and got on with the job. And what a good job they did too. Very clean workers - you would never know they were here which is not always the case with some companies and nothing was a bother. Would have no qualm about recommending Kirkland Contracts and would use them again for future work.

I have used this company several times over the past two years…initially for repairs to my roof. Having found their workmanship to be of a far higher standard than other companies I had used previously I recently gave them the job of completely re-roofing my property and also repairing a damaged boundary wall. This work has now been completed entirely to my satisfaction. Not only was the work carried out diligently but I was pleased with their efforts to tidy up my grounds afterwards.

New Slate Tile Roof:I've just had a full new roof completed by Brian and his team on my home - coping stones, tiles, underfelt, guttering and downpipe, etc…the full works, to get my old roof back up to scratch and all to a brilliant standard. The materials were of really good quality and what I asked for in terms of colours, sizes, etc. , as it’s a really old cottage my family and I live in of sandstone brick structure (approx. 175 years old) and I was keen to keep the period look. Unfortunately, a property of this age also comes with a very tired, old slate roof tile which was in poor condition after years of being battered by the "good ole" Scottish weather. The slate had lasted us for 11 years since I bought the house and was needing work however other parts needed our attention first as we have completely renovated this house to call home! 11 years later the time had come to get the roof sorted and called a few people including Brian from Kirkland Contracts to come round for estimates. We had a few quotes but it was Brian's attitude to the job that shone out to me. From here, Brian came to view what was needing to be done, agree the work and price all within a week. He and his team turned up on the first day when he said they would, they all had a good working structure, excellent time keeping. If the weather turned bad enough that work had to holt he would keep me updated but also returned to work as soon as the weather changed for the better. Really good attitude and likes to please the customer. I read similar comments and references from Brian's previous customers/reviews before taking him on. To me, you do hear the horror tradesman stories and we all worry about parting with large amounts of cash on home improvements and it’s a massive commitment to lose financially but I have to say I am 100% glad that we decided to go with Brian and his company Kirkland Contracts. He is defo not one of them! Just puts me in mind of how things used to be - just good old plain fashioned grafters! Very honest, hardworking guys. He certainly takes pride in his business and makes you feel at ease. Any issues you have he absolutely takes on board and changes to your request. The price was extremely reasonable for the work he and his team did considering the age of the property. All the work was completed within 2 weeks and he and his team properly cleared up after them. He also popped back a few weeks later off his own back just to check to see how things are and went up to check the roof - talk about great customer aftercare! I'd be more than happy to recommend Brian/Kirkland Contracts to anyone and I'd be more than happy for anyone to contact me personally or visit my property to see his work in person, if needed. The the quality of product, service and price in our opinion second to none. The Upvc Roofline and cladding to dormers looks great. Thanks again, will definitely use you again in the future.

At long last tradesmen who turn up when they say they will, charge what they quoted and do a great job. Can't rate them highly enough. They did 3 flat roofs plus a small slated area - excellent job thanks Brian and your team.

Turned up at short notice as arranged to clean out gutters. Would use again.

Our house faces north and the roof at the front of the house was needing cleaned. We wanted the roof cleared of moss and the weeds at each side of the dormer windows removed. Brian and his team arrived on the day promised and worked the whole day. They removed weeds etc and cleared the gutters by hand, checking the roof as they went, power washed the tiles then coated the roof with an anti-fungicide. Plastic sheets were placed on the ground to collect debris. They also cleared up by washing the windows, doors, steps and slabs and also spraying anti-fungicide on slabs and steps. By the time they had finished not only did the roof look fantastic but the whole of the front of the house looked clean and tidy. They did a fantastic job and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
