Jim has done a few jobs for me over the past years -- mostly small jobs, and a couple of medium jobs. He is great. Totally professional, explains things really well without being condescending, does exactly what he says he will do when he says he'll do it. Very reasonably priced -- up front about costs, and they don't magically balloon for spurious reasons. I would highly recommend him -- will be getting him to do a bathroom refurb soon. .

Jim recently completed a total refit of our bathroom - including new bath, basin, toilet and shower! Really happy with the final product, and along the way he was great really taking the time to explain all of the different options and components involved in what was quite a difficult job in the end! Jim takes great pride in his work. He's highly skilled and takes the time to explain exactly what he is doing and why it has to be done. His prices are reasonable and he gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Jim is the epitome of professionalism, and he is also a very nice person too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. There's a lot of cowboys out there but Jim is certainly not one of them. When he has done a job, you can rest assured that it's been done properly.

Jim did some plumbing work for us back in October 2022 when we were having 3 small rooms in our house tiled (2 small bathrooms and a utility room). He did a great job of removing 2 toilets, and replacing them once the rooms were tiled, and he also sorted out an issue we had with the flush in an upstairs toilet. We always felt fully informed about both the work he was carrying out and the cost (which was very reasonable), and he was always on-time and carried out the work very thoroughly and promptly with no messing around. He also provided us with lots of useful information about other jobs we were considering sorting in the future. He has recently advised us on some minor plumbing work too. We will certainly have Jim back again in the future!

Jim did a fantastic job replacing our shower and sorting out a faulty washer that was causing black spots in our water supply. Talked us through it all thoroughly and answered all of our questions. It took a bit longer than planned but still stuck to his original, very reasonable quote. Would happily call Jim again.

Excellent service - gave advice on exactly what was needed and where to buy at best price (I was going to buy on one website and he found the same item for £20 less on another website without being asked). Job itself was done to a high standard and at a great price. He was also punctual and tidy with very quick communication - highly recommend!

Jim and his apprentice completely renovated my bathroom and I'm delighted with the result. He has excellent eye for detail, gives sound advice throughout the planning and the work itself, and solves the inevitable problems that come up with an old house to make sure the bathroom will last for many years and look great while keeping an eye on our budget. Couldn't ask for more, would trust Jim with any future work I might need.

I called Jim to refit a new bathroom and install radiators in an attic room where there previously was none. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Always explaining in detail what needed to be done and suggesting cost effective solutions where possible. I've called him back for a few more jobs and am always happy with the service and advice. As trades people go, he is indeed a real breath of fresh air.

Jim fitted a water filter system kit with tap for us. He added to the original system to give us the option of turning off the water supply to it locally in order to prevent any leaks from possible malfunctions of the kit in the long term future. We now have good quality drinking water on tap and can rest assured that the system has been fitted in a manner far superior to that recommended by the manufacturers! For punctual, professional plumbing, go with Jim!

Jim fitted a new shower for us and we were extremely happy with both the quality of the work and the price. He was very professional and clearly knowledgeable. His quote was also very detailed and comprehensive. He was accessible and organised and he got back to us promptly whenever we got in touch. All in all a great tradesman who we're more than happy to recommend.

Kings Heath Plumbing were commissioned to renovate a bathroom for us (replace bath with shower, replace sink, toilet) connect it up to the combi-boiler and set up a utility for us in the cellar (washing machine, tumble dryer, macerator). I have dealt with many contractors at home and work and I can confidently say Jim is one of the most competent plumbers I have ever met. His ability to plan the job, quote the job, understand the complexities, manage technical risk, integrate other contractors (i. E. Tiler, electrician), trouble-shoot, innovate, execute and wrap-up are exceptional. Being an Engineer myself, I highly appreciate working with someone who clearly enjoys technical problem-solving and Project Management as much as I do and his eye for detail is as keen as can be. Jim very importantly agrees the costs accurately beforehand (helped by meticulous planning) and gives you a ceiling that he promises not to charge over - a rare promise these days. Jim was on time, met the schedule and was within the cost. He kept me fully engaged and updated on progress and changes, and approvals for said changes. He remained flexible during the job and was able to confidently handle any discovery issues that we had. Jim is a responsible contractor and has a high standard of his own - thus the quality of the job is high. He had a few hiccups with his supplier but he dealt with them well and there was no real impact to the job. Jim provides a supply catalogue that gave us all the options that we wanted and he gave impartial and valuable advice on the material to be procured. I would just like to say that rarely have I ever received this level of service from a company, i'll explain, i had an issue with my radiators rang Jim at KIngs Heath Plumbing and left a message, he texted my back and offered a conversation at 0735hrs in the morning! He then proceeded to advise me against a potentially very expensive course of action (which had been recommended ) and continued to suggest an alternative. This has seemed to work so far and he has not made or even suggested a charge ! I am extremely grateful as my wife has stopped shouting at me! In future I will use Kings Heath plumbing without a second thought.

Jim (Kings Heath Plumbing) provided a thoroughly professional service when an escape of water in our bathroom led to part of the kitchen ceiling collapsing. Not only did he complete his plumbing work to high standards, but Jim also recommended two reliable and skilled professionals for tiling work needed in the bathroom, and plastering in the kitchen. Jim was both flexible and punctual; he kept us updated about his availability (as the work necessitated repeat visits to the property); and his charges were fair. Our faith in tradesmen has been restored, after we were duped by two cowboys. We would highly recommend Kings Heath Plumbing!

Kings Heath Plumbing did an excellent job of refitting my en suite bathroom and fitting an over-bath shower in my main bathroom. Jim gave me a quote for the work to be undertaken and despite the demolition of the existing shower revealing it to be a much bigger job than anticipated he kept to the quote provided. The work was done to a high standard and in a professional manner. I would have no hesitation in using Kings Heath Plumbing again.

Had refit of an ensuite. All the costs were broken down for me in a detailed quote with several options provided depending on what I was looking to spend. Jim kept me well informed throughout the whole job and made sure everything was to my satisfaction prior to completion.
