AVOID AVOID AVOID If your insurance company tells you you will receive a hire car from kindertons, please please please ask for another company. I was given a hire car for 2 weeks, when I gave it back I walked around the car with the kindertons employee, who agreed their was no damage. I left the employee with the car and 2 weeks later received an email saying their was damage. I rang up to dispute this and was told the employee would have told me that their was no damage to avoid any argurments. I find this to be totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Anything could have happened to the car when I had left it with the man. Scammers. .
I have been dealing with Kinderton for nearly 10 months following an incident where my car was hit. Despite the initial assurance that my claim would be handled promptly and my car would be repaired, I find myself still waiting for any form of resolution. The communication from Kinderton has been deeply disappointing. After several attempts to reach out via emails and phone calls, my inquiries remain unanswered, and the promised callbacks within 24 hours never materialize. The lack of response and the apparent disregard for customer satisfaction is concerning, especially after discovering numerous other customers have faced similar issues, as reflected in the company’s overall poor reviews. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism and customer care, particularly in a situation that already poses its own stress and inconvenience. I had hoped for a straightforward and fair claims process, but the experience has been anything but. I am now considering escalating the matter through formal complaints and seeking external advice to achieve what should have been a simple resolution. To anyone considering Kinderton for their insurance needs, I urge you to look closely at the experiences of myself and countless others. Terrible service. My car was written off 0ct 23, …Jan 24 still waiting for payment! Nightmare to get through on the phones. They either blame the computer or they sound about 10yrs of age telling me what I already know! So frustrating…. Just come off the phone for the 10th time to ask about payment. Which they have previously said would be in last week. (obviously I desperately need this to purchase another vehicle ) they have said I have to give hire car back even though payment may not be in our bank? This company is extremely incompetent with no regard for customer service. I had a nightmare experience with them a few months ago. I had to make dozens of calls to them to get things done. It's very difficult to get through to the relevant person. I always got a promise of a call back but no one ever did. No one responds to emails either. Furthermore, this company is also very dishonest with everyone. Charges they had for rental car were extremely excessive. Really poor service, staff are aloof and unable to return calls and emails. We got our car back with a mark on the bonnet that wasn’t there when it was collected. Sent us a picture to prove it was there and this picture was on the day of collecting it very clearly wasn’t there just loads of dust. Staff never get back to you including customer experience, it’s pointless giving your usual cut and paste contact customer experience for assistance reply to this email because she doesn’t reply either. Anyone wants to know more please feel free to ask me for details. Definitely do not use Kindertons to manage your repair they are very, very poor. You have been warned. If I could leave no stars I would. Update: there is no evidence whatsoever, when it was collected there was no mark there as per their pictures, and on the day of collecting the mark was there acknowledged by the hand over agent, there can be no other explanation, I have all those pictures shameful treatment of a customer. Shocking…If I could leave zero stars I would! Had a no fault accident which resulted in my car heading off to Copart (graveyard) I was paid out the value of my car from the third party but Kindertons witheld 310 pounds as that was the salvage payment which they had to send me and I was promised it would be in my bank within 3 days…. 5 days later, after no communication, I ring to be told I have to change ownership on the V5 to get the salvage payment…At no point was I told this! I put in an adjustment claim which they agreed and was told 2 weeks ago (when I rang) that there was an update on that and my claims handler would ring me with the information…. Still no call to date. I asked for an out of pocket expenses claim form 6 weeks ago and was told my claims handler would contact me to discuss…. Still waiting on that one. Kindertons lack the basic premise of being a service as the customer experience is woeful and disjointed. No contact from my "claims handler" at all, in fact no contact whatsoever unless I ring…. And even then I have been mostly told that my claims handler will call me to clarify anything that needs clarifying, only for the claims handler to studiously avoid calling me at all. AVOID USING THEM- wanted to leave no stars but cant - an ongoing claim - no fault - take. 4 day for hire van andadgrr chasing three time the day it was due - contacted transport dept after expected delivery time and “opps didn’t book it out. Sorry, as it’s after 12 on a Friday we won’t be able to get one to you till Monday now- drivers cannot deliver this afternoon as it will be after their finish time if they did ! “, not bloody good enough - I’m a sole trader and a day lost is lost pay’ I’ll get a hire van and clam back. Off you - rely “ if you do that we will not reimburse you the money you paid “. Great customer service -NOT!
This is easily the worst company I have ever dealt with. They had a major negative effect on my mental health and I urge everyone who reads this to give them a wide berth. If you are already dealing with them or really really want to go through them because places like Hyundai or Suzuki are using them (And my God I hope both companies move the contract elsewhere soon) then please take my advice. Never trust a single word spoken to you by anyone in the company. They will at best be wrong, at worst out and out lie. Get everything in writing. Make sure they email or text you with all the details they spoke about on the phone. Never trust a single word out of their mouth. They also employ some of the most incompetent people imaginable. When I said I was complaining about how they acquire data a guy called Raheem said, "We store data securely." I told him, FOUR TIMES, I wasn't talking about how they store data I was talking about how the company acquire data. Raheem's response was, "We store data securely." It's stupidity beyond words. If you call them you get into a queue, if the phone rings again and you get into another queue just hang up. This is an "overflow" call centre who will promise you a call back that you'll never receive. This overflow call centre can tell you nothing and can do nothing. It's a complete waste of your time. But ideally don't phone as nothing they say can be trusted. Get everything in writing, if you have to talk to them make sure you have notes ready because they say things like, "Who said that?" and you need to have a response or they just think you're lying. On top of that so many staff were rude. In the end there was one member of staff I felt I could talk to but even that door closed. I have never in my life known a company as bad as this. If you are a car company like Hyundai or Suzuki who give them a contract then cancel it and go elsewhere. If you are unlucky enough to have to deal with this company then do everything possible not to. I genuinely have never been a customer of a company that are so so poor at customer service, in most if not all my dealings with them even though I’m the customer I’ve had to chance query, object even at one point Emailing the MD of parent company only to be fobbed of over time. So It started really as soon as they get you a car as it’s their main objective to start earning revenue( and a hell of a lot at that) messed up delivery times of that then had to swap the car two days later as it needed an Mot! Then my car took nearly two weeks to be collected to be as I thought assessed and repaired. Even the car delivery driver said if it’s going to CarPort it’s a weight off! This is before anyone’s seen it. When it was finally taken I accidentally left my dash cam in. This was stolen by the people that supposedly are taking care of my vehicle, although Kindertons repaid me the money this is wrong on so many levels. So from fighting to get a realistic quote for my vehicle to dealing with what felt like everyone in the company even though I supposedly had a claims handler. Even when I had one person that was point of contact after raising concerns he wouldn’t update me on payments or they didn't even have the decency to say that’s it your all done thank you for your custom. Just a few sarcastic Emails from the so called customer experience people. Just to rub a bit of salt in the wounds. I genuydid give them a chance to take on board my feedback and experience and fix it but they cleat don't care. I just hope to gif that this gets to people prior to them acting on your behalf or should I say their behalf as it just about revenue for them from my experience. Massive stress and uncertainty caused by them I’m missing loads out but my main point is please don’t go near them. I understand if you’re reading this and think he’s just moaning for the sake of it. I can assure you I’ve never had such a stressful time when I’ve not been to blame for an accident in all my driving time. It’s like I had to justify everything at every step along the way to the company I entrusted to act in my best interests. Also please read more reviews on here, god I wish I had. I had an insurance with clements and after somebody broke my parked car, the car was taken and some money for the value of the car was promised. I stopped receiving any contact from the last weeks and the incident was actually in beginning of October (exactly 155 days ago without me receiving the money promised). I need to chase them for more info and if I actually needed the money urgently I would be struggling. Avoid any contact with this company!
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE AND YOUR OWN SANITY! This company have absolutely no clue about accident management. If I could give a 0 star rating I would, but unfortunately this is not an option. I was involved in a rear end non stop RTC on 09/12/22. Hyundai First took on my case on 10/12/22 and then appointed Kindertons Accident Management to deal with my claim. I received a courtesy (rental) car very quickly which was good, but then again this is how they earn part of their money. They drag things out in a farcical way to clock up the income from an astronomically overpriced hire car and storage of your vehicle (wherever that may end up being). My car was taken from my property on 19/12/22 on a flatbed truck. I was then contacted the following day by Danielle Brown - CLAIMS HANDLER –LEVEL 3 at Kindertons Accident Management asking for Dash Cam footage (that had already been provided) of the 09/12 incident. On 23/12/22 I was contacted by Kindertons and was informed that they would not be carrying out the repairs to my car because there is no clear picture of the registration of the offending vehicle that hit my car and fled the scene. I was offered no information or advice regarding the next steps and the call was ended (they then lied about what was said within this call). After numerous unreturned calls to Kindertons, I finally got to speak with someone who informed me that the company had no idea where my car was. After more unreturned calls/numerous emails and having to threaten to report my car as being stolen, I was then contacted by James Williams at Kindertons on 28/12/22 who lied about the information allegedly given to me previously (he cockily stated “we record calls”) well guess what James, I obtained the recordings via a data access request and they prove your company has lied and falsified case notes. This call pretty much ended with my car being held to ransom by Kindertons until I meet their request of contacting my insurers myself and requesting my insurers contact Kindertons to confirm they will carry out the repairs. Funnily enough, evidence of my formal complaints (that were ignored) were witheld by Kindertons from my data access request along with other information that could paint them in a bad light. (A data access request can be submitted via email to Kindertons free of charge and can be escalated to the data commissioner if necessary).Kindertons were contacted by my insurers multiple times and were not responding to them (dragging things out). Kindertons were holding property that does not belong to them and were not complying with any contract that I had agreed to. All checks should have been carried out by Kindertons before they took my car under the false pretence of repairing it. Kindertons have held my car for almost 3 weeks without doing anything that they promised and will no doubt be expecting someone to foot the bill for a significant payout for a courtesy (hire) car, transportation/storage of my car. Pig ignorant staff and a woeful company that is as equally as bad, not just on today's date date, from day one, commencing 08-09-2022, ignore information given to them and fill out forms with what they want to put on the forms, cannot be bothered to reply because it does not suit them to receive the replies that have been sent so they keep sending out the same questions as before! Obviously staff that have no idea what they actually supposed to be doing, unless of course it is the company policy to have staff who are totally incompetent and set out to submit false and incorrect data! If it was not due to the fact insurance company use them, the proverbial barge pole would not go anywhere near them, let alone touch them!
I was involved in a non fault accident, my car is a valuable vintage car but was told on my first call ( which strangely wasn’t recorded when I made a complaint) that “Kindertons don’t usually deal with old cars, so clearly they are the wrong people to be dealing with it. After three weeks my car was recovered Then I had to wait a further 3 weeks to get any information ( I had to keep calling them). I was not given a courtesy car, I was told that because I had another car registered in my name I wouldn’t be given one even though it was a non fault accident. This company has the worst customer service I have ever had in any interaction with ever, rude call handlers, wrong information given. The matter is now being handled by my solicitor to claim back expenses I have incurred. Avoid having this company deal with your claim especially in you own a vintage vehicle.
Utterly shambolic service for a simple claim where third party hit my car whilst parking. Total lack of communication and I have had to keep chasing and matter still not resolved after 6 weeks. I had to phone the third party's insurers to get reliable info and updates.
Honestly don’t want to get to much into detail as I have the obusman looking into this company. But please stay away it’s by far the worst company I’ve ever seen operate it’s been a while since my claim was resolved and I still think back to how much of a ballache this company was. They delivered me a courtesy van VW transporter only a month old with 4000miles on the clock my main concern when the gentlemen dropped it off was why the hell the plastic undertray which is situated under the engine was actually tied up with a iPhone charger ? I mean most people wouldn’t believe this but if I could post a photo I would. Company better off going into liquidation and making the world A better place.
DO NOT GET A VEHICLE FROM KINDERTONS. Through my insurance Kindertons were to supply me a van to ensure my business could continue. I requested the van on Thursday. Five days later they managed to deliver a van to me. It was filthy both inside the cab and out, with body panels missing. The windscreen was so smeared on the inside that It impaired visibility. The van was delivered in an illegal state, as after I tried to use the windscreen washers a couple of days later the bottle was dry. I was not given a copy of the return document and will subsequently be charged for damage to the vehicle that did not happen in my care. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Kindertons Ref: 1223388.
AVIOD AT ALL COSTS. If your insurance passes you to KINDERTONS stand them down DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS. The cars they supply are very tatty and well used the car I had the boot didnt lock brakes squeaked and engine management lights kept popping on it took them 3days to replace it. Kindertons further damaged my vehicle transporting it to the body shop. They denied this then investigated it and came to the decision they were not liable even produced photo evidence that car was already damaged. Problem was the pictures they supplied where taken at the body shop on arrival with damage they lost the pictures taken at my home address by coincidence because these would of shown no damage. KINDERTONS eventually agreed to fix the damage they caused but on the morning the body shop collected my car again, the recovery driver scrapped the front bumper loading vehicle backwards, he had to stop and turn my vehicle around. Now the bodyshop and Kindertons say they never damaged vehicle. Even tho I supplied CCTV of incident. The recovery drivers images before he loaded vehicle show no marks but when more where taken at the body shop these show the marks but both Kindertons/body shop deny causing these. Even the body shops images from the original repair 2 weeks prior show no marks. Kindertons still refuse to admit the bodyshop marked the front bumper even with the factual evidence this is still ongoing. Also two occasions my vehicle has been to body shop and both occasions my vehicle was not cleaned inside. Especially with Covid 19 at the moment and numerous people accessing the car while been repaired this should of been a top priority when handing the vehicle back also the cleaning of the car was stated on the audatex report so they will be charging the other party for something they havnt done. Thats fraudulent. Kindertons DO NOT use independent engineers they use JPMORRISS which when you check is part of the Kindertons group they are not impartial and will always side with kindertons. The complaints department at Kindertons is a joke even when you provide factual evidence they make you out to be a liar they do not investigate thoroughly all they are interested in is making as much money as they can off the other party. Its been a month since our accident, we still have the courtesy car, no contact, we called and was put as urgent but no call back, these reviews are shockingly true! They valued our car as well under and then said we opted for them to dispose which they Charge you extra for! We didnt opt to dispose we was told we had no choice! Made co part take our logbook now asking us for the logbook. The company's a joke.
