Would highly recommend this company, from first contact they were very helpful and very knowledgable. Always kept in contact with me letting me know exaclly what was going on so that there were no surprises on cost, and kept me up to date on progress etc. Had a laptop that had a badly cracked screen and also had a netbook that the screen kept going off or locking up the track pad etc. They were taken away and repaired and returned. Excellent service.
Assistance with googlemail, management of photos, and general computer competence with A and J who are older people lacking technological skills. We are aware that this is basic work for James but essential for us and his patience is appreciated.
Sent a laptop in for a thermal paste repair, while having the laptop took apart the motherboard was damaged which was replaced without any issues, I was also kept up-to-date with everything that was going on and would recommend this company to others with out any hesitation! 100% satisfied.
My computer suddenly died on me, I phoned Kimbley and the next day James collected it, diagnosed fault as terminal (dead motherboard), helped me choose a suitable replacement, transferred data over for me and I was up and running again in a few days. Very efficient service at a good price, have already recommended to others.
Being a student I wanted good value for money and a quick service as I require my laptop for a large proportion of activities. Kimbley computers were very good value for money, my laptop was overheating and so what I was charged for two days work was very reasonable. They came straight to my flat to look at my laptop, were on time and very professional. They returned my laptop to me within two days and since I have had no problems with it. I have already recommended the company and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.
My son dropped his laptop on the floor and broke the DC power supply socket. Kimbereley Computer Services not only repaired it in very quick time but, knowing he needed it for a University experimental study, they also delivered it back to us. They also looked at two other computers which had developed problems for us at the same time. I cannot praise James highly enough for his assistance and professionalism. Well done you now have a loyal customer who will return for any other computer issues.
I have utilised this business on two occasions: to repair a laptop that would not boot, and then to source and set up a second laptop. On both occasions, the service provided has been prompt, expert, helpful and tailored to my needs. Very highly recommended (and that's not a phrase I use lightly! ).

Can,t fault this company. Fast and efficient and door to door service. They fully explained all that was going on with my repair and what the costs would be, they kept to time schedule and returned any call within minuets. If ever needed computer help again i would,nt hesitate to use this company again.

I rang Kimbley when my laptop caught a virus and was directed over the phone to download some free spyware from Kimbley's website to deal with it. The spyware seemed get rid of the virus itself but couldn't fix the damage it had already done to my computer so James came out to have a look at it. I didn't have to wait long at all for a call out appointment and James arrived right on time. He explained what had gone wrong in terms that even a computer illiterate person like me could understand, and downloaded some new anti-virus software for me as my existing protection had been compromised. He also showed me how fix some other little problems on my laptop that had been bothering me and explained what I should do if the problems occurred again. I was really impressed with Kimbley's overall service and value for money, and feel relieved that I now have someone to go to whenever my laptop suddenly packs in!
Really great service! I don't usually post reviews but the service was exceptional couldn't do enough to help sort out the virus problems which had infected my laptop, I certainly could not have solved it without James, would certainly use again and recommend to others!
5-stars does not do justice to the quality of service I received today. Not only did James come to fix my Toshiba at noon on a Saturday, but he ended up having to stay 2. 5 hours and still only charged 50 pounds as promised. It turns out that my Windows Vista had been corrupted, James was able to save all my files, which he took the time to transfer into my hard-drive, and then put them back into their specific folders when the computer was fixed. (This was wonderfully kind, most technicians would leave files on the hard-drive to do it yourself. ) He loaded "Ubunto" for me (a system similar to Windows, but free and less-apt to viruses), and then took the time to teach me about the system. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and completely helpful & efficient. Easily the best 50 pounds I have ever spent. I would recommend him to anyone, and he will probably be the only person I will bother calling for help now. Thank you so much James, you saved the day!Moreexpand_more
When the horizontal hold went on my Acer I was in despair. Luckily I found James' website and rang up - he came out, picked up my laptop and fixed it - all in 48 hours! What a great bloke - he was very kind and patient with these two oldies! Would recommend highly. Thanks for helping me.
