Our Principle Cranbrook Chiropractor Karen Habershon, graduated from the prestigious Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with Masters of Chiropractic.

Karen uses a variety of techniques including Diversified, CCEP techniques, Cranial and sacral techniques, Activator and Taping. Her additional CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner) qualification provides additional knowledge into the diagnosis and treatment of various extremity and sports injuries. In addition to her experience working with Professional and ammeter athletes Karen has experience working with a large volume of pregnant women and paediatrics.

She encourages healthy lifestyle choices to all, including good posture, nutrition and advice on specific strengthening exercises to optimise recovery and minimise the chance of recurring injuries.

Being based within 5-10minutes of Aldgate and Liverpool Street, she treats a number of office and postural related injuries in addition to her special interest in sports and pregnancy related injuries.

Her previous experience also includes working with:-
Pregnant women and paediatrics.
New Zealand Rugby League team, London Wasps Colts, Oakmedians RFC and Premier League football Players.
Karen also chooses to support ‘Hands for Heroes’ by providing FREE chiropractic care to injured war veterans who have served in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Sport is an important part of Karen’s life and she understands how frustrating it can be to be held back by injury. She has competed in the Devizes to Westminster (125 mile) canoe race winning the ladies doubles, Bristol half marathon and Prudential 100mile bike ride.

Karen is a registered with the General Chiropractic Council (03550) and a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

Karen has worked as a Chiropractor, running her own practice for over 11years in London before returning to the south west. She has experience working with elite athletes, pregnant women and paediatrics. Day to day her clinic attracts a vast number of home and office workers, those working in more manual professions, sports men and women, pregnant patients and paediatrics.

Her sports experience has included working with:
New Zealand Rugby League team.
Premier League football players.
Rugby League players.
Rugby Union players.
London Wasps Colts.
Brazilian Football Academy.

Karen has also worked pitchside and enjoyed on the spot decision making associated, as well as those more subtle adjustments to:
Fine tune athletes.
Help them overcome injury.
Return to play.

Karen has enjoyed spending time developing her knowledge in managing pregnant women and paediatrics. The aims with pregnant patients is to help them achieve a more comfortable pregnancy and birth. With paediatric patients we aim to help them with their musculoskeletal complaints to encourage a more settled and comfortable start to life. It's sometimes hard to understand why a baby is unsettled, however in some cases babies respond incredibly well to light cranial work and gentle light Chiropractic techniques. At KH Chiropractic we select light techniques which are very different to those which would be used on an adult.

Common issues parents consult us about their babies:
+ Breastfeeding difficulties.
+ Excessively crying babies.
+ Babies who don’t appear to be reaching milestones.
+ Lack of sleep for mother and baby.
