Stay away from this company especially Lloyd Dunford who should not be employed by any company! If there was below '0' rating I would be giving them at least -100 if not -1000! We accepted their offer for the furniture collection arranged for today - the day of the house sale and purchase completion. They were not flexible to wait for the delivery on the same date as we were not sure if we will get the keys before 2 p. M. We accepted that they store our goods in their warehouse and deliver them within a week even though we were not happy that our furniture was not coming to our new home on the same day. Today (the day of the move), they arrived late. Lloyd Dunford who I have spoken throughout the process came with another person. He did't greet us, he walked in and just said that he didn't have all furniture on the list from me which was untrue. I showed him my e-mail to him with everything specified and he could not accept that he was unskilled to read my e-mail and open 3 worksheets in excel but only one worksheet. He did not accept his mistake and decided to walk away leaving us without any solution on the day of the completion! Who does that? What kind of company leaves their customer without the solution on the day of the completion?My partner and I tried to explain to Lloyd Dunford what was in the e-mail and how this was his mistake. Regardless of the mistake, we asked him what solution he can propose to us as we had to empty the house today. He just walked away and left us without any solution. We could not believe it…. Luckily this company does not take any money upfront but please don't think this is their advantage. Response : In reply to your negative review, we as a company do not allow customers to abuse and threaten our staff, how you would ever expect our staff to stay on your premise after the unwarranted abuse I personally cannot possibly understand! TO CLEARLY PROVE YOUR AGGRESSIVE NATURE YOU EVEN ATTACKED OUR VAN AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE REAR DOOR BEFORE WE HAD EVEN ATTEMPTED TO LEAVE SITE. NO STAFF MEMBERS SHOULD EVER BE PUT IN THE POSITION THAT THEY FEEL INTEMIDATED WHILE TRYING TO CARRY OUT A JOB. You sent us a list of around 35 items you asked us to collect which turned out to be basically a whole three bedroom house worth of contents!
We made no mistake with your email the staff members actually had a full printed copy of the Excel worksheet with every item listed you had asked us to remove, but the actual amount of items in the property clearly massively exceeded the items you has actually asked us to move. You were offered a free pre-move survey prior to the removal to ascertain exactly the quantity of goods to be move but you refused this and insisted you would send in a list which turn out to be a complete lie! We clearly stated we ONLY had one smaller van and two men free to help you on the day of the move and offered you FREE storage until we could deliver the items the following week. The staff members were 5 minutes late due to a road closure in your village which lead to a 2 mile detour. To sum your review up we could have sent a second van to the property on the day but due to your aggressive behavior the staff had no choice but to leave your property as soon as was safe to do so.Moreexpand_more
