Can’t thank Tracey enough for helping with our Jack-a-poo Annabelle. Very reactive in the house. Especially liked barking a lot. Very anxious and stressed out. Now she is much more calmer, she has crate time and the barking has reduced by 90%. I can leave her and she doesn’t get stressed out waiting for me to come home, she just lies in her bean bag until she hears the car. Monitored with a camera. I’ve had 2 visits from Tracey and she is worth every penny. I especially liked the fact that treats aren’t used with her behaviour training. If l could give more stars l would and have and will carry on recommending you. Fantastic service. Thank you Tracey.Moreexpand_more
I have a Labrador that suffers from nervous aggression, although I know there is no cure for this as it is usually genetic Tracy helped me manage my dog so that my walks weren’t so stressful. She taught me how to cope in certain situations that would normally have been difficult, resulting in both Bob(my dog) and me not really enjoying our time out together. She was very calm, no need for harsh training which I have had from other trainers! Bob responded very well to her which is something I am very grateful for. I can highly recommend Tracy and her husband, both with training and correspondence as they always kept in touch and were on the other end of the phone if needed. Our walks are a 100 percent better and the dog mastic collar she recommended works wonders. Thank you for all that you’ve done for us, life is much easier now. .
I cannot thank these guys enough for the support and training I have been provided with. Tracey who’s been working with me and my dog on fixing certain issues has been everything and more! They are knowledgable, approachable and the training is so helpful in understanding our dogs. They really do know their stuff! Would recommend to anyone who needs advice, training and reassurance.
Our 4yo Cockapoo was starting to think she was in charge and she could not be left alone and thought the sofas were hers and sometimes growled at us to get attention. Following the visit we were sent a report telling us what action we should take to deal with all matters discussed , including types of toys to get to stimulate her. A further meeting was arranged to see how things progressed and due to your advices there has been a vast improvement and not only are we able to leave the dog alone and go out but also our dog is more relaxed and we do not get any growling. We cannot thank both. Although no more visits are needed I note that if we have any problems in the future we can contact them for help. We cannot thank Tracey and Jason enough for their help.
We called Tracey as we have been struggling with our reactive Dachshund, Levi's behaviour. She gave us easy to follow tips for Levi to stay relaxed at home to begin with, then we moved on to walking outside. Her advice was simple but unbelievably effective. We are now more confident and enjoy walking outside. Thank you so much!
We called KDBT last year to help with our Romanian rescue Penny (we got her from a lady in England who had got her from Romania so she'd already had a few homes by 6 months). She is a very nervous and anxious girl and has particular issues with men. The issues got worse as she reached 2 years old and as she comes to work with us we decided we needed professional help. Tracey clearly knows her stuff and was picking up on things I wouldn't have been able to such as body language. A few tweaks with where we kept her crate, how to walk her and a few other pointers (training us rather than the dog) and we saw big improvements. She is a dog that needs constant managing because of her history but she lets us know when we get lazy and need to get back on top of her behaviour. We have a much better and calmer atmosphere at work now, she has improved hugely and Tracey is always at the end of the phone to help with any concerns. I couldn't recommend KDBT highly enough. Thank you team!
Provides practical advice, tailored to your dogs specific issues, this is based on observations of these issues within the home environment. Follow up is scheduled according to the scale of the problem. The behaviourist differs from general dog training as they concentrate on explaining and helping with the root causes of your dog’s actions. The results have been excellent for us. Thank you.
Bruce and I attended a dog meet in a private field that went very wrong. Tracey visited and was able to give not only Bruce but myself the knowledge and confidence to be able to enjoy dog walks. It wasn't a quick fix but was worth the time to now enjoy walking Bruce. Bruce and I are continuing to follow what Tracey taught us and walking Bruce is now a pleasure and he is really enjoying walking now, getting excited when he sees his lead. I can never thank Tracey enough for what she has done for myself and Bruce. .
Having had help from Tracey and Jason in the past with my reactive boy Shihtzu when my new puppy started to show behavioural issues I contacted them again Within a very short time of being in the house Tracey had nailed the problem and gave me tools to deal with it. Jason is always responsive to emails very quickly and they give support generously and quickly Highly recommend as training is always positive and reward treated.
Tracey and Jason answered my call for help very quickly, within 24 hours the appointment was booked for 2 days time. I had a problem with my dogs jumping at visitors when they enter the house. Tracey come over and she was great, she saw the problem and helped gave me the knowledge to help my dogs calm down and be less anxious. It’s still a work inprogress but I have already seen a great improvement within a few weeks. Jason is always on hand to answer any questions and they are a great team and very approachable. 100% recommended and I already have to a few friends. Thank you both.
Tracey was absolutely brilliant. We were at our wits end trying to introduce a new puppy into our home. We had some issues with sleeping, with the puppy trying to overly assert himself on our existing old dog, biting and just generally being a complete pest. Tracey brought an immediate calmness to our house by explaining and showing how to calm down the puppy, and by just having us get some order to our thought processes, which had become completely disarrayed. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone going through any issues, whether they’re big or small. They are in fact people councillors as well as dog behaviourists, and certainly in just a couple of sessions we were amazed at both the puppy’s and our progress. Thanks again Tracey.
I have recently had three sessions with Tracey who has been helping me with my Cockerpoo, Bella. The sessions have been really useful and have helped Bella a lot. Bella is very calm and happy at home but can be reactive and stressy when taken to new places or busy/ crowded environments. I found Tracey very easy to get along with and her advice has been extremely beneficial. Many thanks xx.
I used Tracey 14 years ago for my now 15 year old sedate old labrador, she came on a couple of walks with me and really helped solve problems and shape his behaviour as he was wild, 4 homes in a year! He was turned around and became a lovely dog to walk. Again I turned to Tracey recently when we got a cross lab/golden retriever puppy who again, needed shaping in terms of ridiculously boisterous welcomes and pulling on the lead. Tracey came out on a walk also advise in the home. She’s practical, she gives easy to follow advice, and solves problem behaviour in dogs. Our little Rosie is so much better now. We knew what to do and we followed what Tracey suggested and it’s worked. She’s helped immeasurably and I would wholeheartedly recommend her.
We booked our Shih Tzu cross in for training as struggled with reactivity issues since she was a puppy. We had used several trainers in the past but nothing seemed to help. We could rarely take her out due to her behaviour and she constantly barked inside the house. She was very reactive towards other dogs and we had to walk her during quieter periods to avoid this. Tracy was really supportive and helpful. She clearly explained what steps we needed to take to help resolve the issues. We had three home visits during this time which were really useful. We're so pleased with how far our dog has come since she started the programme. She's so much calmer and better behaved. We’ve taken her on a few day trips and she’s been interacting with dogs with no issues and remains calm in busy environments. We never thought it would be possible but you really have made a difference. We definitely recommend this company if you need help with a reactive dog.Moreexpand_more
We were experiencing some behavioural issues with our cockerpoo Dexter. Tracey visited us and observed Dexter, making a number of recommendations for us to put into practice. We followed her advice and within a couple of weeks we noticed that Dexter was much calmer and more relaxed. Tracey visited us again and immediately noticed the improvements. Although It is a work in progress, we now feel we are making significant progress toward owning a calm, well adjusted companion. Many thanks Tracey.
