Hi, my name is Kelly Rowley. I am a level 6 Qualified Counsellor based in Staffordshire. I am a registered member of the BACP, and my style of Counselling is classed as Pluralistic. This means that I don't really favour one style of Counselling over another; instead I choose to weigh up what style of Counselling would be best suited to you as an individual.

I understand how hard life can get, and how hopeless it can feel when you're stuck in a cycle of negativity. However, it is so important to remember that no matter how difficult things get, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes, all that is needed to find and develop the inner strength that you already have is a listening ear and a calm environment. That is what I offer at my Practice in Stafford. I also offer practical strategies and techniques that you can use throughout your life.

I always offer (and recommend) a free 20 minute consultation for anyone thinking of using the service. The reason for this is because Counselling is a big commitment. You need to feel comfortable enough with your Counsellor to open up and explore issues that may be uncomfortable to you. This 20 minute meeting allows you the opportunity to see if you feel at ease with me and to ask any questions that you would like to about the service. Alternatively, it is an opportunity for me to try and understand what has brought you to Counselling in the first place and to figure out the best way of helping you going forwards. If you don't want to take the service any further after this meeting, then there is absolutely no obligation on your part to do so. There will be no hard feelings, and If you require, I can even try to help you find a more suitable solution.
