With over 30 years experience in the electrical industry, I have specialised in Inspection and Testing of In-service Electrical Equipment (PAT Testing) for the past 20 of those. I have a very broad ranging customer database of businesses and organisations of all sorts and sizes.
I cover the Torbay, South Hams and Teignbridge areas. Clients include local small and medium businesses, National Trust, local councils, charities, residential homes, holiday home owners, sports clubs, shops, DJs, landlords, construction companies, community centres, health professionals. My service always includes Certification, the provision of Equipment Registers, a full site Report and a selection of model forms to assist you in maintaining your own safety records. All resources are provided in handy PDF downloads in small file sizes for easy access and storage.
In addition to electrical testing, I also offer repairs, spares and accessories of vacuum cleaners, specialising in the Numatic brand (Henry, Hetty, George etc) using only genuine Numatic parts and supplies such as Hepa filter bags.
Qualifications include:
- ConstructionLine Silver Level Member
- City and Guilds 2377 Inspection and Testing of In-Service Electrical Equipment City and Guilds 2381.
- 16th Edition Wiring Regulations and 16th and 17th Edition Update).
- Level 3 Certificate in the requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671).
- Health and Safety Level 2
I work closely alongside the IEE/IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition).
My career began working in my family's contracting and wholesale business, both working on site and on Trade counter sales, until I decided to specialise in Electrical Testing.
