Karen did my hair at the Severn valley 1940's event today. She's so lovely. My hair looks amazing. Thank you so much.

Marvellous experience, Karen did my hair for a charity event, which was for 2 era’s. I have short bobbed hair which she managed to get into a pleat - amazing. Her studio is lovely and Karen is so welcoming, would highly recommend.

An excellent vintage hairstylist who is also a very friendly warm person who listens to what you want to have done and always makes you feel 100%comfortable with the finished result as well as making your hair totally fabulous. Also so it stays in.

Have had my hair done twice by Karen and both times have been exceptional. My hair is very thick and Karen has given me the most perfect 1940s hair which has gone on to last me for days. Karen is profession and extremely talented at what she does. I would highly recommend.

My sister and I had our hair styled at the weekend at Severn Valley Railway’s Step back to the 1940s event. Karen’s work was exceptional- genuine 1940s hairstyles that took into account our face shapes and length of hair. Really exceptionally high quality work. We’ve had our hair styled multiple times by Karen now and every time she has shown incredible skill but also is absolutely lovely to talk to. We had a crazy amount of compliments on our hair all weekend.

What can I say. Absolute professional. Such a lovely lady. I had no real idea of the style I wanted so I showed Karen the hats that I wanted to wear and left it to her to create the final impression. Wow. It was truly amazing. I had so many compliments. Thank you so much Karen. Lovely to see you again. 10/10.

Karen recently did my hair for a 1940’s weekend. She is brilliant! My hair was just beautiful and stayed in for 3 days! I can not recommend her highly enough!

Karen did my hair for a recent 1940s weekend in Doncaster - I got so many compliments and loved it. It also stayed in overnight and I didn’t have to worry about hair for the final day either. She is so talented.

I was convinced by my friends to get Karen to put my hair in a 1940s up do as I'm getting married and had no idea what I wanted. She put me at ease straight away and after a few questions her put a style up in 30mins which blew me away so much so it made me cry tears of joy that she'd worked me out my perfect wedding hair. Karen did my hair for the Earl of Doncaster 1940’s event in 2024. I was so pleased with how she did my hair and it still looked fine the next day. She even had just the right hair accessory to match my dress. Karen puts her customers at ease and although she had a full day of appointments she kept to appointment times.
