I am an experienced English and literacy tutor specialising in Functional Skills English from Entry Level 1 to Level 2. I work with children, teenagers, and adults, helping them develop reading, writing, spelling, and grammar skills in a supportive and structured way. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s needs, building skills and confidence through engaging, achievable goals.

I have over 25 years’ teaching experience in both mainstream and specialist settings. I specialise in working with neurodivergent learners, providing patient, adaptable, and encouraging tuition. My approach is to focus on what each student can do, building from strengths to address challenges in a positive way. All learning materials are carefully chosen or created to suit the individual, making lessons engaging, relevant, and achievable.
