I bought an overlocker machine and compared to a normal sewing machine it seemed very complicated. I was booked and attended an hour long 1-2-1 session with Karen, to learn firstly how to thread the machine, (4 bobbins and two needles) and then look at the various sewing techniques the machine was built to perform. I got loads of hints and tips from Karen who is very experienced and knowledgeable and came away, more confident to be able to use the machine for my projects. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about their machine or develop sewing techniques. Many thanks.

Purchased sewing machine which had slight problem with stitches. From returning machine to receiving back re-tuned couldn't fault the excellent service that Karen provided. She is very helpful and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from her again. Highly recommended!

I went in to buy a double zip for my anorak. After searching for prices etc Karen suggested she have a look at the anorak before ordering a zip. I returned home and brought the anorak back to the shop. Karen examined it and was able to sort it thus avoiding the need to buy a new one. Many many thanks Karen exemplary customer service.

Extremely helpful whenever I call in. I always feel welcome. I just wish I lived nearer as I would be able to go more often.

Karen has a vast range of Knowledge and has taught me to sew. Every time I go into the shop the staff are always polite and helpful. Her fabrics are gorgeous and I can't wait to start my next project. Thank you Karen.
