I started with Kevin after my husband had been training with him for 6 months. I had given birth to our 2nd baby and was struggling with aches and pains and felt my body needed strengthening. So far not only have I lost all the baby weight (and some), I feel the strongest I’ve ever been. The sessions are really enjoyable, Kevin is light hearted and motivating. Family and friends always comment on the difference. I always tell them… ‘everyone needs a Kevin! ’.
I am a 71 year old man who had heart surgery 12 months ago, Kevin has been such a tremendous help and has tailored my training accordingly. After 6 months I am fitter and more agile now than I have been for many years. Would have no hesitation in recommending Kevin whatever your health issues are.
Kevin is a great, enthusiastic and positive fitness trainer. We've been training with him for since 2016. Initially it was just my son, then I joined in and then my wife joined in as well. So we can say that he does great group sessions as well as individual one on one sessions. I'm not sure I can say that I 'enjoyed' the sports massage sessions but he definitely helped loosen up my neck. I highly recommend Kevin.
Just had my first virtual session. It was great! As a client of Kevin’s for over 20 years, I knew I didn’t want to go for months without my fit fix. The session was ace. I only needed a bar bell and a mat. Lots of body weight stuff and the usual smiling encouragement pushing hard but never too hard. I finished feeling really positive. To stay fit through lockdown you need Kevin in your life!
Kevin brings a lot of enthusiasm and positivity into my training schedule. He always keeps the routines fresh while providing a huge amount of knowledge on diet, health and anatomy. He can also offer very effective treatment for aches and sprains … And your mind.
A few weeks on and just had a face:face session with Kevin in the garden, brilliant. I’m still doing online at the end of the week. Finding this combo is really improving my mobility, flexibility and strength for tennis. Just need watch the ball now ? WOW! Just finished an online session with Kevin. Really really good. I was a bit sceptical, as I like the boxing training, but this was a very good substitute to keep me on the ‘straight and narrow’ and added a bit of normality to these lock down times. I had been missing the banter and encouragement. Thanks Kevin, see you next week. ?.
For many years I have suffered occasional back problems. In October 2017 I got it bad - sciatica. With Kevin's help I have got it back to normal, in fact I haven't had any significant back pain since. What's more, Kevin has recommended a range of simple exercises that should strengthen my back and loosen tight hamstrings. I wold happily recommend Kevin to anyone, a genuinely nice man and very good at his job.
Kevin has helped me with my rehab after 2 total knee replacements. He is always punctual, professional and positive and seems to know exactly how far he can push me, encouraging me to achieve my targets more quickly than I would on my own. His support has been invaluable and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Kevin has been my personal trainer for almost a year and together we have made tremendous improvement to my fitness level. I have never felt stronger and I am probably more fit now in my late 40's than I was 20 years ago. Kevin is extremely skilled in what he does and has guided me through a huge and diverse range of training methods to help me achieve my goals without injuries. Kevin makes every session challenging yet achievable with lots of motivation and positive feedback. He always has something new to push me that bit harder but it is always worth it. I can truly recommend Kevin to anyone regardless of goals or fitness level. Kevin creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and ensures you don’t feel awkward even when you start out unfit and out of shape as I did.
I have known Kevin for a number of years, the first thing I realised was Kevins knowledge and total professionalism to the job in hand. Kevin not only got me fit but also taught me about me about my diet stating this was as important as excersise. Kevins knowledge of the working body is impressive and he also helped me become alot more flexible combined with his sports massage sections. I was so impressed I recommend Kevin to number of friends who I knew had problems with there backs and various other sports related and body issues. I would recommend Kevin to anyway. Kevin's been my trainer for 17 years! He also trains my husband and my 14 year old son. He's really relaxed and easy to work with, the sessions are really enjoyable and we often laugh quite a bit. He plans a really varied programme, which is always challenging but achievable, using weights, bands,exercise ball and BoSU. The main cardio I do now is boxing but I used to run. Kevin has also given me nutritional advice, sports physio and does a mean sports massage. He was also a massive encouragement when I went through a serious bout of depression. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
Kevin managed to get me back on my feet and back to fitness after bad running injury through a very tailored and thorough treatment programme. Every session made an improvement to my ankle and calf and I will definitely be looking to ask for Kevin's support in on-going top up and 'maintenance'.
Kevin truly is a fantastic, knowledgable and friendly professional. After suffering from Glandular Fever at the age of 26 I was left completely fatigued and un motivated. I was lucky that Kevin was working with a friend so was recommended. Kevin knew exactly what I needed, very quickly I felt the benefits whilst also having a great deal of fun. Kevin also helped me to stop smoking. I now feel even better than before the Glandular fever and it's all down to Kevin. Highly recommend. Thank Kevin.
Three years ago I had been suffering from a serious back issue for the previous eight months, having seen a chiropractor and physio which did not help. My back condition had deteriorated so badly that a specialist back consultant suggested an epidural which in fact did nothing to help. I was facing the prospect of back surgery. Within a month of treatment from Kevin I was much better, as well as massage he recommended key exercises to strengthen my lower back to prevent problems re-occurring. I have continued to see Kevin on a regular basis, his visits were to my house at a mutually convenient time. I did subsequently have a couple of minor issues with my back but with advice/treatment from Kevin I was quickly back to normal. For the last two years my back has been problem free, I cycle long distances, I scramble in Snowdonia and am basically not restricted by back issues. I still prioritise my exercises and see Kevin once in a while.
Keven is a revelation in the fitness industry. His ability to shape a programme that motivated me to meet my fitness goal was spot on. He helped with my long distance running goals and was able to advise and treat a long recurring calf injury. Basically he kept me on the road, and coached me on the importance of balancing different types of training (boxing, jumping balance, weights, squats, running, etc etc…) with a supporting nutrition programme. I’d always look forward to my sessions with Kevin as you never knew what we would bring out of his kit bag, which kept the sessions very fresh and non-repetitive. A great investment in living a better life.
