Juliana is dedicated to all her students despite their lack of ability to dance and therapy needs. I started attending Juliana’s dance class in 2019 as someone who has never had any form of dance lessons before. But with Juliana’s sensitivity and professionalism I have persevered and is making steady progress in Egyptian dance. I also find her Feldenkrais class to be effective for my mind and body. I highly recommend Juliana’s classes to any females regardless of age.
Juliana is a highly experienced and knowledgeable teacher as well as a skilled and beautiful dancer in her own right. She is also a qualified Feldenkrais teacher and brings her understanding of how to support dancers to use their body more effectively into all her teaching. We always properly warm up so the classes are safe for everybody. The classes help you develop your dance technique and your ability to improvise. You get individual attention. I think her classes are fun, inspiring, friendly and creative. Please join us!
Juliana Brustik is a talented dancer and skilled teacher of Egyptian Dance. Her classes begin with a yoga warm up, followed by a mixture of choreography and improvisation. Juliana is precise in her teaching and provides lots of individual feedback. As a student of her intermediate class I find her lessons challenging and enjoyable and would be happy to recommend them.
Juliana Brustik has taught me egyptian dance from beginner to intermediate levels. She is an exceptional dancer who is extremely good at communicating the technical skills that are needed for egyptian dance, while still making it fun to learn. She is very generous in her support and encourages me to continue improving my dance skills.
Raqs Sharqui is a very tasteful style of dance. Juliana is very knowledgeable about the history and music styles helping you to translate the music with the movements. She is very thorough in her teaching technique, breaking down each movement whilst also encouraging improvisation and always asking for feedback as to what we feel works/ doesn't so that she can adapt the class accordingly.
It has been a very productive and therapeutic experience to have the opportunity to attend to Juliana Brustik's workshops. I have learnt a very well strutured range of movements that allow me to composse a choreography and now I m also able to sincronize those movements in a spontaneous way with different pieces of music.
Juliana is an amazing teacher dedicated her art. Hence her dance classes are the best I have experienced. She has an inherent nurturing ability that recognises each individual student for their own merit and then guides them to success in the most effective way. I have tried many teachers before Juliana but she is the only one who helped me to understand and improve, and it happened quite fast. She has taught me to be aware of my body, the core techniques by breaking them down to easy to sallow segments and to understand and interpret music. Since starting to learn from her my physical and mental abilities has improved too. Juliana also organises some workshops and events regularly, where we get to learn and dance from some of the best Egyptian artists and be a part of a friendly community.
She has got a uniqe warm up style which combines piliate and Alexsanda technique; it's not only help to get ready to dance but also allow you acknowledge your body. i've learnt really good technique from Juliana, i went to other classes but mostly i didn't learn much or too much nonsense talking .
