Joyful Paws

My dog used to be a nightmare on walks, I wasn’t confident about letting him off lead because he’d only come back when he felt like it! Thanks to Joy educating him AND me, he now has excellent recall. I work very long hours and have always been able to trust Joy to take both of my dogs out for me when I’m unable to. I know they couldn’t be in safer hands.

I first met Joy when I asked her for help in training recalls with my 2 boys, Tiger and Puffin, so they could have the freedom to run off lead. They have now great recalls and enjoy themselves running in the fields and woods together. She also identified specific attention-seeking behaviour in Puffin, a Staffy x Collie with a typical Collie traits, particularly with regard to his ‘paw dance’ with which he’s had me at the vets on more than one occasion, even though I now know his paw is fine ! She helped me to channel his energies in more productive ways than his paw dance and excessive barking for attention. Thanks to her patience and knowledge, I have learned so much about my boys’ behaviour and body language, and there is no-one else to whom I would entrust their care to than Joy.
