Joy has been styling my hair for over 25 years, cuts, trims, perms, highlights and even styling my sons hair in fashionable styles over these years. She is courteous, polite, punctual, fair priced and always up with the latest styles and best training. I can't recommend her any higher as a person and hair stylish. She also has the full package for; proms, weddings or just a special occasion. She does hair massage, make-up, nails and hair. Forever a top professional. Thank you for taking the time over the years to meet my whole families needs.

I wanted to leave this review as joy has been my hairdresser for many years. She always replies to any messages promptly to all customers. Please disregard the one bad review as this person didn't even get his hair cut by joy. This lady is fabulous.

Seems Joy does not need my business, I phoned 2 days ago, she cant be bothered to look at her phone messages, has not even bothered to answer mine AT ALL not even to reply to my query, Mick, Plymouth.

I was recommended Joy by my Wedding Venue (Horn of Plenty). I first met joy in January 2020, at the time I had very short hair and had no idea of what I could do or wanted. Joy was very patient with me as I was indecisive, She gave me lots of ideas, we met for a trial and I was amazed at the end result. She was able to give me the look of having an up-do hairstyle you would normally do with long hair. I did not want to grow my hair as I have a very active lifestyle and long hair is a real pain for this. At the time we had also planned for her to do my makeup. Then COVID 19 hit us 2 months later, with very little prospect of my wedding going ahead on the 23rd of July 2020. When I found out it could go ahead, and that hairdressers would also be allowed to work, I was so happy. Understandably I knew Joy would have reservations, but on talking to her she had carried out a full risk assessment on how she was going to protect herself and me. She was more than happy to still do my hair on my wedding day, with the provision I accepted I had to wear a mask and that Joy would wear a mask and visor and I could be the only one in the room. Of course I was happy with this. Due to lock-down my hair had grown considerably, but due to time constraints we were unable to do another face to face trial, but through Joys suggestions we were able to share ideas via 'Whats App' and she did a video consultation with me. Joy went above and beyond what I was expecting, we knew she would not be able to do my makeup, but again she was able to talk me through ideas and products to buy so my daughter could do my make up. The 23rd of July 2020 came and Joy was very professional but also a real joy to have in my company on my special day when nerves can be a thing, we laughed and chatted and the morning went quickly. The end result hair and makeup was beyond anything I could have done myself and was just stunning, even the makeup which she did not do, but it was her guidance that enabled my daughter to do this for me. Joy is a an excellent hairdresser as well as practicing safely with in covid rules wearing full PPE and sanitising everything I have no worries having her cut my hair I feel absolutely safe she is very professional its hard to find all those qualities these days .

Joy kindly did my wedding hair for our civil ceremony in June 2011, time has gone so quickly, hence so long leaving a review! Joy was incredibly kind and professional, and my hair and extensions was exactly as I hoped it would be and more. She came to our hotel to do my hair, and it felt like we had known her forever. If your lucky enough to have your hair done by Joy, you won't regret it. ? .

Very satisfied, always look forward to seeing Joy. She is very efficient and ready to help in any way she possibly can. Makes no issues of me being in a wheelchair and provides an excellent service.

Joy has been my hairdresser for about nine years during this time she has coloured cut styled my hair to my great satisfaction Joy is a very pleasant lady always cheerful when she arrives and a good listener hope she will continue to do my hair for next nine years.

Asked Joy to do hair and make up for myself and my bridesmaids. The trial was really beneficial, anything I didn't like we discussed and anything I loved she wrote down to make sure it was used for the wedding! She was professional and chatty which helped with my nerves on the day, and was happy to add extra people/treatments on the day when there was plenty of time. My make up and hair stayed flawless throughout the whole of my wedding. I highly recommend Joys business!

Joy came to my home to get my daughter ready for her prom. Her makeup, including individual eye lashes and hair were done beautifully. I would not hesitate to recommend joy to my friends and family.

Joy came to do my hair for the first time today, she is very friendly and makes you feel at ease straight away, she uses good quality products, and she is a very good cutter. I was very pleased with the colour which also made my hair look and feel in good condition, I have booked my next appointment and intend to have Joy as my hairdresser on a permanent basis, I would strongly recommend Joy, you will not be disappointed.

Had the opportunity to work with joy for a photoshoot as a model, she is a lovely bubbly lady with excellent skills in both hair and make up. She was able to create the looks required perfectly and efficiently. I was so happy with her work I have booked her for my own wedding to do hair and makeup. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Joy has been Doing my elderly mother's hair for several years, so we know her well and she is always helpful, friendly and very efficient. She has now added another string to her bow and offers make-up to clients whose hair she is doing. I am a mature lady and have always used make-up but never had it done professionally so by arrangement, when Joy was here to wash and set my mother's hair she gave me a makeover and I was thrilled with the result. She used purple eye shadow which I would never have chosen and altogether I felt a million dollars! Thank you Joy.

After years of having my hair bleached by various hairdressing salons I recently decided to find a mobile hairdresser to colour my hair back to its natural colour. After reading the reviews left on Joy's website I knew I had found someone I could trust. Joy was very professional from the beginning, she came around to do a skin test on me before the appointment date which alot of hairdressers have never done before when I was a new customer! On the day of my appointment, Joy discussed with me what I would like and advised me accordingly. I was delighted with the transformation! I have booked Joy again and have booked a date to trial my hair for my wedding this year. Joy made me feel at ease and her extensive experience was apparant. Thank you Joy.

I met Joy for the first time today after finding her online and reading reviews and she didn't disappoint. Very friendly and professional, listened to exactly what I wanted and has made me feel So much better after not having had my hair done for almost a year. Already booked next appointment and booked my children in too. Would definately recommend :).

I have had my hair done by Joy numerous times now and everything I've had I've loved it! Any questions I have regarding new styles/colours etc she will always give me her best advice, she will talk everything through before she does it and has now given me the confidence to have my hair cut super short! Honestly couldn't recommend enough, very good prices too! :).
