John White Woodcarving. John has over 30 years experience and holds City and Guilds in Woodcarving.

He offers quality hand carved decorative items and embellishments. Specialising in architectural carving, signs and furnishings.

He is also a qualified teacher and runs courses in Cheshire for complete beginners to advanced.

John was taught by local Master Craftsman and achieved a City and Guilds qualification which he then went on to teach. He enjoys running courses in Cheshire for those wishing to learn how to carve wood using hand tools. Details of current courses are on our website and Facebook page. He also teaches the carving module at the Chippendale School International of furniture.

John has enjoyed carving many interesting projects over the years. They include: large country signs, marine name boards, memorials, linen fold for the House of Lords. Also pieces for television and replacement architectural work on listed buildings.
He is vast array of experience allows him to carve almost anything.
