John Mac Heating is a family run Gas Safe registered central heating and plumbing company established in 2007. John has been in the industry since 1998 and we specialise in installing boilers (with up to 10 year warranties), servicing, breakdowns and issuing Landlord Gas Safety Inspection certificates for local letting agents.

We are based in Watford, and cover from Uxbridge, Hayes, Ruislip, Pinner, Northwood, Harrow, Rayners Lane, Rickmansworth, The Chalfonts, Hemel Hempstead and all areas in-between.

John Mac Heating are members of Gas Safe Register, which replaced Corgi. This means we have taken all exams and are fully certificated to be able to work on gas appliances. When we install your boiler, you will be given a Gas Safe Building Regulations Compliance Certificate, to ensure your boiler installation has been registered correctly. You need this certificate if you ever decided to sell your home. Never let anyone work on your gas appliances who are not members of the Gas Safe register.

John Mac Heating are members of CIHPE, Member of Chartered Institute of Heating and Plumbing Engineers. Only fully qualified Plumbers can be a member of the CIPHE, and have to provide all relevant exam certificates to be able to be part of the CIPHE.

John Mac Heating is owned by John and Abbie McEneaney.

John has been in the industry since 1997. He qualified as a plumber and then subsequently qualified as a Gas Engineer, and progressed to a Gas Technician whilst working for British Gas. He was also Employee of the Year during his time at British Gas. He spent 10 years gaining extensive training and experience, before deciding it was time to open up his own company. He founded John Mac Heating in 2007, and it has gone from strength to strength.

Abbie undertakes the "office" side of the business. As the company grew, John has had less and less time to do the office side of the company, and Abbie now works full time running this department. She organises all appointments, invoices, marketing, accounts, and basically anything other than actually doing the actual gas and plumbing work. Her background in customer services certainly helps her to do this. She spent 9 years working for a travel Agent and managing offices for 6 years, and 5 years in a ARLA registered Letting Agency.

John has the following qualifications:
Gas Safe Registered.
CIPHE Registered.
NVQ in Plumbing Services Level 2.
NVQ in Gas Services Installation and Maintenance Level 3.
