I couldn't recommend Joanne highly enough. She went above and beyond at all times. She made me feel comfortable, made herself available for as many fittings as I needed and provided a top class service. She's very reasonably priced and nothing was too much to ask. She always asked my opinion about how I wanted my wedding dress to look and gave great advice whenever needed. If you are looking for a seamstress for your wedding dress, you'll be in very safe hands with Joanne. She's 10/10. I also got 4 other dresses altered with her and she did them all perfectly. Thank you so much Joanne, my dress was just perfect.

Joanne was so wonderful I really can't praise her enough! She was so patient with me, made me feel perfectly at ease and couldn't help me enough even though I must have been the customer from hell because I'm terrible at making decisions and tend to change my mind at the very last minute. Joanne never tried to persuade me to do more than was necessary even though she could have very easily persuaded me to do a whole heap of other things to change the dress to get more money out of me. In the end she took it in at the waist, lengthened the straps and took up the length which was all that was needed to take my dress from frumpy unflattering mess to the most perfect dress I had been imagining! I was expecting a very hefty bill after all of the trouble she had gone to for me but was amazed at the very reasonable price, my (nearly) husband even asked if she had maybe made a mistake :D In short you would be a fool to trust anyone else with your precious dress :) Thanks Joanne, you're wonderful :).

Excellent service thank you joanne…. I needed my daughters bridesmaid dress altered and it was done in 2 days, Due to my daughter being poorly I couldn't pick the dress up so Joanne kindly dropped it back of to me. I will highly recommend to friends and family.

Jo was listed at one of the local bridal shops. I wanted to wear my Mum's dress for the wedding and when I first met Jo (4 months before the wedding) the dress sort-of almost fitted and we talked about ways that she could alter it so that it would fit. She gave me confidence that I would trust her to take scissors to a dress which is very sentimental. She also gave me the confidence to wait and see if I lost weight in the run up to the wedding and not to rush into anything. She was willing to do mock ups with calico of different necklines. In the end, the dress fitted without any alteration and there was no hard sell from Jo to change the dress for its own sake. She gave it lots of TLC, taking out the lining, taking down and turning up the hem, sponge cleaning the neckline and pressing the whole dress so that it looked as good as new. We always laughed when we met and the whole process was a real pleasure.

I contacted Joanne with barely 2 weeks before my wedding day in a bit of a panic! My original seamstress had not altered the dress to how I had wanted, leaving me feeling like a total frump! I scouted the internet for a seamstress who could help (who lived locally) and came across Joanne's details). I emailed Joanne hoping that she might be able to do something-anything! - to help make the dress even just a little better than what it was. From the point of contact, Joanne was amazing. Quick to reply to emails, always reassuring and , following a visit to my house, took the dress away and was able to make the necessary alterations within a week. The dress she returned was just what I wanted and fit exactly the way I had hoped! And her price was extremely reasonable!She truly was an absolute life saver and an absolute pleasure to have met! I found Jo's details online and I was really impressed by the reviews. She responded very quickly to my initial email and communication was great throughout. She really made me feel at ease and is extremely knowledgeable. She shortened my wedding dress and hoop which was serveral layers, she adjusted our bridesmaid dresses and steamed them and finally altered my Mum's outfit considerably. We were all so pleased with her work. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Great service from start to finish. A very reasonable price too.

After buying a dress online, I wanted to change the zip at the back to a corset type closure, which would suit me whatever size I would be by the wedding. Not only Joanne did this very expertly, but accommodated my additional requirements to lengthen the straps, add a red belt onto the dress and remove some of the skirt tulle, which made me look too poufy. Joanne also shortened my son's trousers. Although I had plenty of time, I could see that Joanne could have done all of this in a few days. She is very friendly, able to accommodate your individual needs and reasonably priced. Thank you so much for making my dress fit my personality. Joanne has a colour version of the picture.

Joanne altered my wedding dress after finding her online and after the fantastic reviews she had received went with her and I was not disappointed! Joanne is friendly and very professional with many years experience she was able to do exactly what I wanted with my wedding dress and made it 100 times better than I ever imagined it could be. Thank you for not returning three messages, and not answering the phone on two more occasions. Thank you for wasting my time. Not so professional.

I found Joanne's details on the Internet and was sold after reading all the positive reviews she's received. Joanne altered my wedding dress, three bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dress. She did a fantastic job and I was very pleased with the results. She is great value for money and the service is very professional. I'm looking forward to wearing my wedding dress on my big day now that Joanne has worked her magic! I can't recommend her enough.

Joanne altered my wedding dress and two of my bridesmaids dresses (one of which was very heavily pregnant! ) she done a fantastic job and nothing was too much trouble, I was apprehensive to begin with but Joanne put my mind straight at ease with her friendly nature, I can't rate her enough! Such value for money our dresses were perfect!

Joanne was excellent, she altered my sisters wedding dress, my bridesmaid dress and my dads waistcoat. Very professional and easy to talk to, made suitable recommendations and made an excellent job of all the alterations. The sewing was exquisite and doesn't even look like it's been altered. I had my wedding dress altered by Joanne nothing was to much and she put me at ease straight away. I was expecting a hefty bill for all that needed doing to my dress but she offers such great value for money. And did a brilliant job!

A week before my wedding I got very sick and lost 11lbs. Obviously my wedding dress didn't fit me anymore. I didn't know any seamstresses in Leicester and so found Joanne online. She was absolutely brilliant! She came on the Tuesday before my wedding and I had my dress back and perfectly fitted the Wednesday! Joanne came to do my wedding dress today and I am so impressed by the result! I'm only small (size 6 and 5"3) so my dress was huge before, it now fits perfectly! She even added in a loop for me to hold my train up, a hook above the zip and took the hem up on my mum's dress too after we noticed it was a bit too long. She is so friendly and easy to talk to, her prices are brilliant and I would recommend her to everyone!

Joanne did a fantastic job on my wedding dress, she altered it to fit me perfectly and moved my straps for me to make the dress fit better. She even altered a waist coat for me at the last minute.
