JMS electrical came to put up two flood lights that have worked fine. 3 months later one has started flickering. He said I need to pay £45 call out charge and £30 for a new light even though the light is still within warranty and has blamed me for not taking the receipt even though he didn't show me it or offered me it. Apparently the receipt is lost to his accountant. Be warned, no guarantee with his work if something doesn't work and you'll pay full price for the fix.
Response : The guarantee is with the manufacturers and wickes where the light was purchased , jms is not responsible directly and you are only as good as the lights you are fitting . You was offered a solution to the problem which meant a call out fee and in your words you said you would look else where ! Message sent to customer and i am personally going to the accountants to pick up all my receipts so i can post the one out in the post for the flood lights so james can get the fitting exchanged , at jms we pride ourself on doing a great job and over 200 positive reviews on check a trade cant all be wrong .
Please note for all future customers if your light goes faulty then the issue is with the people we purchased it off not jms . A call out fee will be charged to come and replace the old one . Thanks for reading .Moreexpand_more
