About JKA Karate Dalgety Bay

With traditional japanese karate classes in Dalgety Bay, JKA Karate Dalgety Bay offers tuition to all ages and grades to the general public throughout Dalgety Bay and the surrounding areas. Established in 1979 the dojo has many years experience in the Traditional Japanese Karate martial arts.

The club is managed by Bert Stewart 5th Dan Black Belt JKA who has been involved in the JKA Shotokan Karate with the Japan Karate Association since 1973. Having previously studied under Sensei Enoeda 8th Dan JKA and now a student of Sensei Ohta 7th Dan JKA, Bert Stewart is more than qualified to look after the dojo.

The club delivers traditional JKA Karate instruction that is taught currently within the JKA Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan and offers authentic Japanese courses, gradings etc. The instruction is tailored to suit each individual student, making it suitable for all ages and abilities, beginners are most welcome, and it is available at our new purpose built Dojo in Dalgety Bay.

With a beautiful purpose built traditional Japanese a Dojo venue and fully qualified staff, the club is able to offer professional instruction to local people. The instruction is intended to be rewarding and fun, enabling students to achieve their own personal goals.

JKA Karate Dalgety Bay has a growing number of students, located in the local area, including many pre school children in the successful Tiger Cub Classes.
