Jerry Can Spirits is a craft rum company started by two Royal Corps of Signals veterans. After more than a decade in the British Army, we decided to make the kind of rum we actually wanted to drink - no shortcuts, no gimmicks.
Our Expedition Spiced Rum is blended and distilled at Spirit of Wales Distillery in Newport. We use Caribbean white rum as the base, add Welsh brewery molasses, and produce just 700 bottles per batch. The result is smooth vanilla and caramel notes with warm spice - works neat, over ice, or in cocktails.

We're Armed Forces Covenant signatories and part of every sale supports forces charities. Based in the UK, shipping nationwide.

Our flagship product is Expedition Spiced Rum - a 40% ABV spiced rum that balances Caribbean rum with British craftsmanship. Pot-distilled in small batches, it delivers vanilla and caramel upfront, warm cinnamon and nutmeg through the middle, and a smooth oak finish.

The name comes from the iconic jerry can - military kit designed to work reliably in any conditions. That's the standard we set for ourselves.
We spent over 12 years in the Royal Corps of Signals, serving everywhere from Arctic Norway to the Middle East. After leaving the forces, we wanted to build something with the same values we'd learned: do the job properly, look after your mates, don't cut corners.
