REVIEW MADE AVAILABLE TO BUSINESS OWNER BEFORE POSTING. Purchased a 10 year VW Polo with 63000 miles for £5350 in October 2021. This came with 12 months MOT and I thought it would give me trouble free motoring for the next 12 months. Unfortunately, a promised oil change was not undertaken, necessitating a 140 mile round trip. Subsequently, I realised that the ride was not correct but despite returning the car, a fault could not be found. I began to lose confidence in Jefferies and when further issues arose during the 3 month warranty period, I did not return to seek rectification. The air con needed re-gassing (cost £50. 25) and still outstanding are faults with slow punctures and the handbrake. After 7 months use and only a further 2500 miles, a suspension coil spring has broken requiring a fix costing £235. Regrettably therefore, I have to record that I did not receive a quality product from or service from Jefferies Car Centre.Moreexpand_more
I would not buy a car there after my nightmare car he sold me. I was not told of any faults and had to pay nearly £1000. 00 to get them fixed as he said it was wear and tear after only 15 weeks. The warranty was useless as none of the repairs were covered and the nearest garage for the repairs is bath, unless you want to pay the excess as you are only covered up to £35. Per hour. He new about the display panel fault but said it was well known senic fault, but that cost me £150. 00 and the electric window fault which will be another £125. 00. Stated air con which never worked. £250. 00 for rear brakes. £110. For track rods. Rear exhaust £105. And an oil leak. None were covered in the warranty.
Richard was very helpful when I was looking for a car for my mother. He kept my details and called me back when he thought he had found a car which was suitable. Richard went out of his way to drive it to my mothers house for her to have a test drive as she had no transport. My mother was thrilled with the car, she did get it independently inspected and it was a good a good car at a good price. Thank you.
I bought a car from these people which has left me out of pocket and without a car, i took the car back four times as it kept breaking down in the end i asked for my money back but they would not refund me for the £225 i paid for the tax and he was NOT going to give me the tax disc either until i pushed for it as he said i could not claim it back please be careful not to be fooled like ourselves.
Not being very experienced in buying cars, I was very nervous when purchasing my current car. But I didn't need to be at all! Richard was very helpful and trustworthy. I have been extremely pleased with my car and will definitely be going back to Richard when it's time for a change.
