Great job by Jim on renovation of my bathroom, renewal of all my lighting as well as plaster work and painting. High quality work and very easy to deal with. Will certainly use him again.

Jim and his son Ryan did a fabulous job today replacing my wash hand basin taps, bath taps and shower screen. I had asked them to choose the taps and was really pleased with their choice. They also gave me advice regarding my present shower and fittings. I would not hesitate to have them back again for any future work needing done.

Really recommend Jim and his team! Excellent communication from start to completion. Also was quick to resolve any issues that raised their head.

Jim fixed our leaking plumbing under the kitchen sink. He arrived on time, quoted a fair price, went to some trouble to go and get the parts (not easy during lockdown), and finished the job that morning. Everything now works perfectly and is bone dry. Jim also gave us various bits of helpful advice. Highly recommended.

Fixed a difficult work area with both electrical and plumbing issues. Installed dishwasher, fixed sink and subsequent plumbing. We needed to get a cloakroom modified to accommodate a new boiler and we also wanted a cupboard for storage. Jim came to see the works needed, he gave valuable suggestions and provided a reasonable quote and timeframe. Everything was in writing, which is much appreciated to prevent surprises. We are very happy with the results. Jim and son are very polite and keep noise and dust to a minimum, making the usually inconvenient experience of having tradesmen at hope very easy. Overall, good value for money, good finish and a happy customer that will keep Jim's number at hand for the future.

Jim and the guys have carried a few jobs for me. Most recently they successfully carried out a full refurbishment of my bathroom which involved moving fitments to different positions. I love the result and Jim was able to give me good ideas about the layout which I appreciated. Everyone who sees it is impressed. The team are very professional - they arrive on time, are very tidy, keep you up to date on progress and the standard of their work is great. They're coming back to update my kitchen in the summer and I'm looking forward to Jim's help.

Jim and his team carried out a complete kitchen re-fit a couple of years ago which we were delighted with, since then I have had no hesitation calling on Jim when we recently had a blocked kitchen waste Jim was very efficient and soon had the problem resolved. We have always found Jim to be very dependable and efficient.

Leaking shower - problem quickly diagnosed and fixed. Brilliant.

A friend recommended Jim and the team to me to replace my mum's shower and make a few changes/repairs in the bathroom. Due to circumstances we were unable to get the new products ourselves but Jim had no problem in sourcing the necessary items on our behalf, all of which we were really pleased with. Work was carried out on the agreed dates, with Jim, Pat and James turning up on time (I've had several experiences of plumber/builder/electricians changing dates at the last minute or turning up late, without any call to advise or explanation, or just not turning up at all) and getting on with the job efficiently and professionally. We were kept fully informed throughout and when other issues presented themselves, Jim offered advice and options on how to deal with them and, again, got the supplies needed himself. The work was finished ahead of schedule, within the agreed budget and with the minimum of disruption and mess and my mum is delighted with her new, improved bathroom! Being so impressed with how this work had gone, Jim and Hector subsequently renewed a "vintage" fuse box. Should we want any further work done in the future, Jim and the team will be our first port of call and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Initially Jim and Pat installed a sink, unit and Worktop in our kitchen. Other firms had seen this work as too difficult. They made a great job of it without any problems. Later on, with the help of Jim's son, James, they tiled the kitchen, floor and walls, installed a new radiator, fan and outside tap and replaced the old sockets and light switch. The work was excellent. The men turned up early in the morning, including the weekend, and completed everything earlier than expected. The work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard and everything was cleaned up every night without fail. I feel lucky to have found a company who can be totally relied upon and would have no hesitation in recommending JCR &Sons. I hope to use them for other work around the house in the future. Had a boiler cupboard replaced in the kitchen after the work was botched by a previous contractor. Work was carried out quickly and to a high standard. Friendly team and very professional.

Replaced a mixer shower with state of the art electric powered, all in one day, no fuss and no mess to come home to.

Turned up on time, dealt with the quotation for the work promptly and thereafter kept to the date for the quoted work and finished it all in the agreed time frame. Courteous, helpful and very tidy, especially given the 'demolition' work being undertaken - would recommend and would certainly deploy again should additional work be required.

I have been reluctant to get work done on my flat following bad experiences with other companies. Jim and his team have restored my faith and I more than happy to recommend JCR and Sons to others. Jim and his team were great throughout - turned up on time, were clear in what needed done, made recommendations of improvements and were just really helpful throughout the whole process. My neighbours were also pleased that the team made sure that the communal areas were clear at all times and there was none of the mess left behind as we have had when other neighbours have had work done. Jim made sure I knew what was happening each day and finished the job within the timescale agreed. I am delighted with the finished ensuite and the quality of work done on it. It was clear throughout that Jim and his team take great pride in their work and this shows in the finished product. Now that this has been such a success I wouldn't hesitate to ask Jim and his team to do future work.

Jim and Hector did a few jobs for us - installed new lighting, replaced some old lighting and installed a bathroom extractor fan. All of the work was completed in a day and to a very high quality. Jim visited in advance to discuss the work and the options available and sourced the materials - really good service. Overall we would highly recommend JCR&Sons for any electrical work.
