Jayne Darling - Vintage Singer

Jayne was, as always, superb. The event was curtailed by a medical emergency to one of the guests but Jayne handled the situation sensitively and professionally. All was well later and we can't thank Jayne enough for her consideration. We could not have hoped for anything more from her.

Jayne sang last night at Hawthorn Court, we thoroughly enjoyed her singing and performance. Just the right era for us. We could sing along to all the songs. Thank you Jayne.

We hired Jayne for our Charity Event after seeing her previously. She was absolutely amazing, her dresses, hair and make-up were stunning, she had fantastic interaction with the audience and her songs were wonderful, everybody joined in. Jayne helped to make our night a huge success, everyone had a brilliant time with lots and lots of compliments the next day. We would not hesitate to hire Jayne again for any other event we were planning.

I would whole heartedly recommend Jayne to anyone looking for a lively, inclusive and thoroughly entertaining event; our residents enjoy the music and residents who do not always engage with activities engage with the entertainment she provides, the pleasure they get from the songs and music is written in their smiles and the feelings of enjoyment last so much longer than the entertainment itself.

Outstanding show from Jayne. Catered perfectly to our needs. Jayne was so professional from start to finish from her multiple costume changes to the way she delivered the whole show. She had our whole club singing and clapping. Absolutely top class ! Thank you Jayne.

We booked Jayne to perform at a Jubilee Celebration for our older persons group. We have to say we were not disappointed. A true professional from start to finish. 2 sets were performed with a costume change in between. The first set was a mixture of songs, the 2nd set was a good old singalong. Jayne really Interacted with the audience very well and made them feel at ease. We are already looking at booking her again for a future event. .

It’s the second time we’ve booked Jayne, great performance as usual.

Jayne cam to entertain us at a DDay 75 anniversary tea Dance for Blind Veterans UK. She was amazing. She even took the trouble to come to the tables to be closer to the members who couldn't see her very well. She was a joy to have. The booking process simple and the whole performance flawless - cant wait to do it all again! The Members loved it.

We had another stunning performance from Jayne at our Memory cafe, she interacted really well with our guests and everyone enjoyed the afternoon, she really is a Darling. Thank you Jayne, we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We had a 70th anniversary event at the University of Nottingham Social and sports Club in November, the event was based on a 1940's theme. I would just like to say that this was one of the best acts that we've experienced, Jayne was very professional and polite and has a fantastic voice, she got the whole crowd going from the start to the end……it was like going back in time, as Social Secretary I would like to thank her for a wonderful night on behalf of our members. I thoroughly recommend this act and for sure will definitely be booking her next year.

Jayne performed for us at a World War 1 commemorative evening at St James Church Hall, Newbold Verdon. She sang beautifully and her choice of numbers was superb. She led 100 of us in a good old fashioned "singalong" and was focal in the expectations we had for the night being exceeded. Above all, she gave us everything we hoped for and more. She was superb and entered fully into the spirit of the evening. A lovely person and a great entertainer - we will use her again and thank you Jayne, from us all.

Last weekend in Leyburn, Jayne continued to please the public, as ever. She never lets us down.

We had the pleasure of working with Jayne on Friday when we hosted our 40s dance for the Woodhall Spa weekend. A true professional, both herself and Darren were lovely and very helpful in the set up of the evening. We loved her outstanding voice and fabulous 'presence' on stage. We very much look forward to working with this lovely lady again in the future!

Jayne performed at my Mums 85 birthday party and what a difference she made. She is a really beautiful singer. She is proffessional, obliging and really welll organised. Everyone was delighted by her voice- let alone her dresses ! If anyone is looking for a vintage singer then Jayne is the one. I highly recommend her. She made my mums party extra special. What more could anyone want.

We had Jayne perform at our summer fete on Saturday and she was fabulous. Beautiful costume changes. Wonderful voice. Super friendly and obliging. We found Jayne by Googling and we were delighted. Jayne sang at a Sunday lunch to celebrate a 90th birthday. There were nearly 60 of us and many hadn't seen each other for a while so there was a mixture of chatting and listening. Jayne was brilliant, not too loud-not too quiet. We were delighted to have the lovely Jayne as our entertainer for our very special 45th (Sapphire) Wedding Anniversary party. Her great voice and wonderful repertoire really helped to make the evening very special - right down to her gorgeous blue gowns to match our blue-themed evening! Jayne is a brilliant entertainer. She regularly comes to sing at our residential home in Nottingham and the residents love her. She is engaging and a lot of fun. I would recommend Jayne to brighten up any occasion.
