Janus Fashion is a brand primarily focused on our passion for dance couture, implementing the best tailoring techniques with contemporary designs to create the most comfortable and fashionable dance wear.

Our biggest focus point revolves almost entirely around quality, over anything we do. We take immense care with every inch of our products to ensure everything we make is premium and long lasting.

Expert alterations and repairs and dressmaking experience. Clothing, dancewear, curtains, cushion covers, wedding dresses, suits, jackets and more.

Studio based in Stevenston, welcoming clients from across North Ayrshire and beyond.

Competition Dresses.
Fittings, taking in, letting out, hem adjustments, and stonework for Ballroom, Latin and Juvenile competition dresses. All brands and styles accepted.

Wedding and Evening Wear.
Wedding dress alterations, bridesmaid dress adjustments, evening gowns and formal occasion wear - taken in, let out, hemmed or repaired to fit perfectly.

Clothing Alterations.
Everyday clothing alterations for men, women and children. Trousers, skirts, jackets, coats, shirts - any garment, any brand, any fabric.

Curtains and Soft Furnishings.
Curtain shortening and alterations, cushion covers made to measure, duvet cover repairs, Roman blind adjustments and general home textile work.

Repairs and Restoration.
Zip replacements, split seam repairs, fabric tears, broken clasps, missing buttons and general garment restoration - for clothing and dancewear alike.

Crystal and Stonework.
Adding Swarovski crystals or rhinestones to existing dresses, replacing lost or damaged stones, and restoring competition dresses to their original standard.

A bespoke dress is entirely handcrafted to your exact measurements and personal specifications. Unlike ready-to-wear, nothing about a bespoke Janus Fashion piece is generic - every seam, every stone, every hem is made with you in mind.

Our head dressmaker Renata, with 34 years of experience, personally oversees every bespoke commission from the first conversation to the final fitting. You will work closely with our designers to develop something truly unique.
