Outstanding service from the Lady who helped me to decide on the floral tribute for my Sisters funeral, I wanted South African Proteas incorporating in the arrangement and decided on Sun flowers too, the greenery I sort of left to the lady, she was so helpful and accommodating, the shape she recommended was tear shaped, I agreed. I have to say it was looked absolutely stunning atop of the wicker casket, The Staff at Browns funeral parlour were really taken with the arrangement and said how it complemented the casket … The family also said how fitting a tribute it was, my sister lived in South Africa for over30yrs, the proteas were her favourite flowers, Much gratitude and thanks to Janet and her staff on a beautiful tribute and the care given to me … Will certainly use this florists again ? .
I have just collected a flower arrangement the funeral tomorrow for a very loved and close family relative. It was the most awful flower arrangement you could have ever imagined. The funeral is tomorrow and no time to get another flower posy done. It the most distressing situation imaginable. They did attempt to try to recover it but it was just as bad We cannot bring ourselves to send it to our loved ones and it’s now in the dustbin were it belongs the flowers were not fresh and Wilted and petals falling off already We can not stop the tears from flowing. We have got to be grateful it was not sent to the funeral directors without us seeing the absolute worst possible arrangement. I ask for a refund was told no it was the time. It took all of five minutes on the second attempt. It’s just the worst feeling in the world when you wanted things to be lovely for your loved one. I have to get through tomorrow.Moreexpand_more
Ordered a funeral tribute of a dove unfortunately I did not see final result until the day of funeral ! Ruined the day as if it wasn't upsetting enough, the quality of work was poor it was as if it was done by an amateur and consisted mainly of feathers! Not flowers as you wod expect! The tribute was that large it could not travel in main hearse and therefore had to be placed in the boot of accompanying car(which wasn't a bad thing considering workmanship) all day moaners kept asking why the seagull tribute and then commented had my children done it? Not something you want to hear! Needless to say I won't be going back.

My wife Kate and I have been using Hull florist Janet Pattison for a very long time. My direct family who live in Canada, and relatives here in Hull use Janet Pattison flower shop. We all say how well run the business is, and the excellent service, and personalities all the staff have. We can't say too much about them. Thank you for asking for. Our views. Kate and Ian Robinson.

I have been a customer of Janet Paterson for a few years now, getting Bouquets for my wife and 3 daughters for 'Celebration' days. The quality and service, including the very prompt delivery to the opposite end of the City, has never changed and is excellent. Having lived within a couple of minutes walk from the shop, whilst at 21st Avenue School, in 1946, I've adopted the shop as my 'local' and couldn't have done better. Long may they continue.
