ISTD - Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancin...Jane Mackinnon School of Dance has been teaching Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz street and Musical Theatre for over 30 years and has classes 6 days of the week. We cover all ages from under 5's to over 75's we have a class for you. All our classes are taught by ISTD qualified teachers and follow the exam syllabus accredited by the ISTD governing body which is recognised by UCAS as an educational qualification.
All Jane Mackinnon School of Dance teachers are qualified by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and hold current valid CRB checks.
Jane Mackinnon has been running the school for over 30 years offering dance classes in Rownhams and now with over 300 pupils from all over Southampton and Romsey.

My daughter moved to Jane Mackinnon's when she out grew the school she was at. Although she was only at the school for a short time before successfully auditioning for full time training her confidence soared. She loved the teachers and the atmosphere of the classes. I also found the school great value for money.
