Jan Steele Saxophone Lessons provides tuition in saxophone, flute and clarinet, music theory and jazz improvisation to clients throughout the local area. The company, which is located in Caversham (Reading), was set up in 1976 and has 40 plus years of experience in the music tuition business. All ages of student are welcome, from children to adults including beginners. CRB full disclosure and public liability insurance.

Jan Steele has a BA (Hons) in Music from York University. He also has DFE QTS Status and full CRB disclosure and public liability insurance.

Student successes include 3 students on the Junior Royal College scheme, one of whom is in the National Youth Orchestra, one student who won a place on the BBC Junior Composers Course at the Purcell School last year - the same student also achieved 100% score in music theory Grade 5, and another student gained 97% in music theory Grade 8.
