About James Rawlinson Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute Teacher
MU - Musicians' UnionJames Rawlinson - Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute Tuition based in a music studio in Pokesdown near Southbourne, Bournemouth. James teaches all styles from Classical to Jazz with emphasis on helping students develop improvisational skills.
James Rawlinson is a member of the Musicians Union.
James also runs The Red Fez Orchestra (1920s and 30s Dance Band), is musical director of the Boogie Bumpers (Swing Band) and runs his own Jazz Quartet as well as leading the Forza Saxophone Quartet.
James aims to get his pupils through ABRSM and Trinity Classical / Jazz Music Examinations as well as various possible Diplomas post Grade 8 and online recorded exams. These exams can provide a great target for children and adults alike who want to improve their playing and musicality. James is also available for online zoom lessons for those who live further away or even abroad.
