Jackie is a very professional and encouraging trainer and working with her has increased my fitness and strength. She introduced me to new activities which at first I was nervous of but with her positive determination I got going with H. I. T and Kettlebells and really enjoy them and getting good results in terms of fitness and tone. I highly recommend Jackie as a trainer.
Jackie has tailored our personal training workouts to my goals, weekly energy level and variety. She is always upbeat, even when the workout challenges what I think I am able to do. Because she is always prepared, I can relax my natural high level of control and push myself to get the most of the workouts. She is always on time, professional and fun! As we have worked together she has adapted as I have developed new skills. She listens well and therefore, when she is ready with the program, you know that she has taken your goals and needs into account.
I have known Jackie for over 6 years. My son and I first attended her kickboxing sessions and soon thereafter engaged her services for private kickboxing/personal training sessions. We have had regular (usually weekly) sessions ever since. She makes training fun and is constantly reviewing the exercises she gives us to do to increase our fitness and also to ensure that it stays fun. After my son injured his knee she adapted his regime according to his needs taking into account exercises he was given from his physiotherapist. My knee isn't strong either and I like to ski and since working on exercises to strengthen my knee I have had far fewer problems. Whatever your fitness needs, I highly recommend Jackie's training sessions. She is an absolutely delightful person too.
I was hesitant about using a personal trainer as you feel you will not live up to their expectations. Not so with Jackie! She immediately puts you at ease, works through your needs and designs programs around you, never judges, and is realistic and supportive. That said, she does put you through your paces and I certainly feel more toned and my cardiovascular fitness is much better. We also laugh a lot which is important when you bare your flabby bits to a stranger! I cannot recommend her highly enough, try for yourself….
This is the second time I've trained with Jackie now and I would never consider anyone else. She's professional, flexible, reliable, friendly, sympathetic, sensitive, fit as a fiddle and most importantly, trains you hard! What I like most about Jackie is that she treats all of her clients as individuals; one training approach does not fit all! I have a hip replacement so have to be careful. Equally I'm carrying some extra weight that I need to lose so combining the two is hard work. Jackie makes me work harder than I ever think possible and every week I get notably fitter and my hip is in better shape than ever. Some people might think that a personal trainer is a luxury - I think Jackie is a necessity! I'm sure all of her other clients would agree with me that we're lucky to have her.
I have known Jackie for nearly 2yrs. We met when i joined one of her kick boxing classes. I then found out she was a personal trainer and Jackie and i have trained together for about a year. Her programmes are varied and are specially worked out for the individual so you never get bored. She works you to your absolute limit and just when you think you can't give anymore Jackie's encouragement proves that you can be pushed beyond what you thought your limit was! And that's the job of a GREAT personal trainer. Jackie's reliable, inspirational (believe me i've seen her in action! ), professional and succeeds in getting you the results YOU want. She is very up to date with all the latest equipment on the market and has recently started me on the TRX which is very big in the U.S.A. She's friendly and approachable and makes you feel totally relaxed. She's changed my life and she could do the same for you. I have had kickboxing lessons with Jackie since last summer and am now an orange belt. As well as wanting to progress through the gradings, one of my goals is to improve my personal fitness so I have recently started personal training sessions too. After a very short period I'm already seeing a good improvement. I had attended osteopaths for a number of years for various physical aches and pains, but have recently started having sports massages with Jackie which are exceptionally beneficial. Not only are all of the sessions of an exceptionally high standard, they are also fun. This time last year I would never have expected to achieve orange belt status and would not have expected my fitness levels to have improved to such an extent. Very highly recommended for all areas of her work.
I am 66 years of age and having suffered a shoulder injury I had constant pain for weeks, eventually seeing my doctor and then receiving a six week course of physiotherapy. The improvement was only slight and my regular tennis sessions were impossible. I saw Jackie for an exploratory session on a Tuesday morning and I played tennis two days later. Two more sessions with Jackie was all that was required to lead to a complete recovery. Jackie seems to be instinctive of what treatment is required and I have no hesitation in recommending her.
After damaging my ankle 8 months previously I had several sessions with a local physio. Still having problems and also with my knee, I heard about Jackie and made an appointment. She was extremely professional and found the root of the problem after only one session. So now, after several more appointment, I am back to playing tennis and walking in comfort. I am so pleased!
I have been having sports massage therapy with Jackie. I have found it very beneficial. It has greatly reduced the aches and pains I used to experience in my back and it has even improved my running, I have been getting PBs recently in the races I compete in. Jackie is very knowledgeable on all areas of massage, sport and fitness and her skills as a massage therapist are excellent. Jackie is always professional and friendly and will go out her way to help you. By far the best sports massage I've had!
I have been working out with Jackie since April and in the first 8 weeks I had already lost 8 inches. Jackie is professional, kind, an inspiration to all and is great value for money. She is not just my personal trainer now but a true friend and I would definately recommend her to everyone. Thanks again Jackie!
For two 45-year old people, getting a personal trainer was a last resort to try and lose two stone each. We decided to try Jackie, three times a week for two months to kick start our exercise regime. In the past eight weeks Jackie has been an inspiration. She's shown us different forms of exercise and shown us that even we can take up jogging! (From being only able to run for one minute, we are now running 45 minutes! )And, in the last eight weeks we've lost nearly a stone each! We shall definitely be continuing to use her.
Following a couple of sessions with a physiotherapist but with no positive outcome, I contacted my girlfriend's sister Jackie about the problems with my lower back. Through a new training regime I hurt what felt like the lower back area radiating down into my bottom and leg but the physio failed to give me any pain relief with her treatment and, after a couple of weeks, I got to the stage where I could hardly sit upright and lying down was also painful. Luckily, we were meeting up with Jackie in Portugal for a week's holiday and she immediately diagnosed a tight piriformis muscle after a short consultation and proceeded with deep tissue massage (it saved my holiday)! Following a few sessions (although very painful sessions) I had not only stopped taking my painkillers and anti-inflammatories, but could move with ease. A couple of months later and I am still pain free. I would highly recommend Jackie for sports massage therapy as she has certainly improved my quality of life as having lower back pain is very debilitating. Her professional manner also put me at ease immediately through what could potentially have been a very embarassing situation given the personal connection. I will certainly call upon her if I am unfortunate enough to suffer further injuries or feel in need of muscle relaxation upon my next visit to England.

Jackie has been my Personal Trainer now for 3 months and during this time I have experienced nothing but a professional attitude from Jackie. At the outset, my fitness, weight and goals were assessed and recorded and with twice weekly personal training with Jackie my aims are being achieved and I am delighted with the results to date. Jackie is motivational and enthusiastic at all times and I am even finding myself enjoying the workouts. I would not hesitate to recommend Jackie to anyone.
