J Murtagh Tree services recently pollarded eight 70ft high lime trees for me. They carried out the work proficiently and safely and left the logs neatly stored. They left the site of work very neat and tidy once they had finished. They were very professional at all times. I would use them again without hesitation.

I work in a day nursery and we are beginning to offer Forest School sessions. For this we need seating for the children. Jim was keen to help and listened to what we wanted, we then left the creating process to him. The end result of a small bench, some little log chairs, tables and plates are amazing. The children were so excited to see these and haven't stopped using them, they even come out of the forest school area and are moved around the nursery. Thank you again.

Jim and his colleague took down two large trees within the day, and all we are left with is a neatly stacked pile of logs and a useful pile of shredded bits, exactly as we had requested. Moreover, his quote was very reasonable compared with another we had obtained in advance, and they were helpful and polite into the bargain.

Jim responded promptly to our telephone enquiry and attended the site on the same day. He then rearranged his diary in order to carry out some urgent work for us. Jim cut back and shaped two Maples and one Horsechestnut tree. We were very pleased with his work which was carried out to a very high standard and we would recommend him to any prospective future client.

We have recently moved into a property that had a number of trees we wanted either reducing in height or felling completely, all of which were 30 - 40' in height and close enough to the house to cause serious damage if a storm were to topple any one of them. This obviously required someone who I could trust to do a professional job and who was backed by full liability insurance. I got three quotes and right from the start Jim was professional and courteous. He turned up at the agreed time to inspect the site before quoting and provided his price within a couple of days, which proved to be excellent value for money. The work was undertaken on the agreed date by Jim and his team, all of whom were very polite, tidy, fast and professional workers. All work was carried out safely in the agreed timescale, with great respect to our property and with no damage. I would highly recommend Jim and his team for any tree surgery work.

Having just moved in we asked Jim to cut back and lop some extremely large bushes/ trees and to remove a 30ft+ Yew tree. He responded very quickly, was able to organise to do the work soon after sending a quote and the quote was extremely good value given the size of works. They arrived promptly, finished sooner than anticipated and the garden looked great (tidy and work done as agreed) afterwards! We were both really impressed and will definitely use again!
