We have used Julia 4 times now. She is the BEST celebrant you could ever wish for at such a sad time that our funerals were. Whilst being extremely proffesional, she is the most very caring, loving, and thoughtfull person I've ever known. Funerals are such a sad personal time in our lifes but no one could help you manage your loss more than Julia.

We would like to pass on our thanks to Julia for a beautiful service paying tribute to our dad. From our conversation prior to his funeral we feel that you truly captured the essence of him as a person and created a beautiful service. We hope that this feedback doesn’t seem too long and inflating, but we really can’t thank and praise Julia enough. Every aspect of her service – her care, her planning, her patience – was absolutely spot on. When we started planning our wedding, we had clear ideas about the sort of ceremony that we wanted – a Celtic hand fasting incorporating nature, but remaining inclusive to all religious beliefs. Having a Civil Celebrant enabled us to create a really personal ceremony, but we had no idea where to start and felt quite overwhelmed at the prospect of it being such an important and memorable thing. We were incredibly nervous when we arranged to meet Julia. We had no idea what to expect and quite frankly, half expected to end up being preached at by someone that we didn’t feel comfortable with. Thankfully, Julia set us at ease immediately. She was thoughtful and took the time to get to know us as individuals, as well as a couple. In the space of an hour, she managed to capture the essence of our perfect ceremony and we left that meeting beaming from ear to ear and with absolute confidence in her. We would have been perfectly happy to leave the ceremony in Julia’s capable hands from that point on, but she also took the time to visit our venue, refine the readings and check-in with us from time to time to make sure that we were ok and that we didn’t need any help from her ahead of the big day. It was such a relief not to have to worry about what was probably the single most important element of our day. Julia was also very calm and patient. When it came to the day, we were both very nervous and flustered having forgotten countless things! Her composure helped us immensely and as soon as we stood in front of her, we were able to realx and enjoy what was a very special and personal ceremony. If you discount all of the other aspects of our day, the ceremony that Julia performed would have alone made our day unforgettable. We received so many lovely comments from our family and friends that she clearly made an impression on everyone. She captured our personality, our beliefs and our relationship in the readings and delivered the ceremony with style, good humour and absolute professionalism. We really can’t recommend Julia highly enough. Whether for a wedding or any other service, we can say without any doubt that we couldn’t have chosen a better celebrant and will be forever grateful.
