Mr Douglas got a member of his team out to me within 24 hours at the start of this year when my boiler stopped working, for which I was very grateful (4 small kids, freezing house, brrr! ) Part was ordered and repair completed the day it arrived. I couldn't tell you technically what was done but my husband (an engineer who knows these things), when he got back from sea, said repair cost was reasonable and he was happy. At the start of autumn, another part of our boiler was going glitchy. Again, Mr Douglas had a member of the team to my house within 24 hours, part was ordered and repair done very quickly. Again, cost was reasonable (according to my husband who actually understood what the engineer was fixing). The engineer who did the work both times was polite, courteous, tidy and competent. I had a new wood pellet central heating system installed. I had looked at over 10 suppliers as it was an unusual space to fit in but John managed to come up with a great solution. Installation was pricey but I think it was worth it.

I had a new combi boiler installed with all the new piping done, also the removal of the old water tank etc. A new shower was also required and wet wall was fitted around the shower area. All the work was carried out to a high standard, over a short timescale and very reasonable price. I would recommend this company to friends and family.

We have used J Douglas Plumbing and Heating Ltd 3 times in the last 3 years. 1st: kitchen and utility room new plumbing, heating and relocation of gas boiler. Work done to excellent standard. Fast, efficient and friendly service. 2nd: Gas boiler service. We didn't have to wait long for the visit and the work was completed quickly and quietly. 3rd: Disconnection of old water and gas pipes and connection of new outside tap. Again, fast and efficient work. All the workmen have been very friendly and pleasant, the work has been to a very high standard and the price better than expected.
