During the past 7 years JDJoinery has installed two large and complex fitted kitchens for me. Working closely with a local electrician and builder they were completed in time and on budget to a very high standard. Jamie installed my magnet kitchen, but I required additional structural work which I had to pay for on top of the installation. He carried out the work in a polite manner. My house was left clean at the end of every day. The final finish was excellent and a year on I am still happy with it. It did run a few days over schedule but I thought 2 weeks was an ambitious programme.

My kitchen is perfect and the job was carried out without any problems and Jamie always provided excellent advice and communication. He was punctual and meticulous with his work. Very professional service.

After having a recent house fire, I contacted Jamie at JD Joinery. After having a meeting, where is was discussed in great length and detail the repair work that was needed and what this would entail. All work that included joinery, electrical, plastering, decorating and heating and plumbing was completed to a very high and professional manner. A very pleasant, and friendly team, hard working and dedicated. Jamie took the time to understand the situation and worked round the clock to get the job finished, ensuring my family was back home for christmas. Jamie fitted a kitchen for my parents. He arranged plasterwork, plumbing,electrics, and decorating. They all arrived on time and provided an excellent service. Jamie was very professional and gave quality advice on some changes to the plans that we had. I am absolutely delighted with our new kitchen fitted by Jamie of JD Joinery. The entire project, which included a new ceiling, plasterwork, plumbing, gas fittings, electrics and decoration, was managed efficiently and hassle free for us and we are very happy with the finished result. Jamie took care of everything and any queries or concerns were dealt with immediately. He was also extremely helpful offering ideas and alternatives along the way, nothing was too much trouble. The quality of Jamie's work and his attention to detail were exceptional as were the standards of his team. They were punctual, very pleasant and hard working, often staying late to complete something to stay on track. J. D. Joinery done my skirtings and facings in my living room to an excellent standard. I had just had my hall redone by someone else painted and new skirting and facing, but the their workmanship wasn't near as good as jaimie's from jd joinery, Wish i had got him to do all of it now. All in all excellent service and very tidy worker.

The personal service from the business was second to none. They spent a lot of time with us discussing design and differing ideas before we even committed to the job. The project entailed the removal of an internal load bearing wall and the fitting of a complete new kitchen with appliances. No request was a problem if a change was asked for. The whole project was run efficiently with no "off the job days" and was completed within schedule. All planning and engineering design was undertaken by the company. All workmen were friendly and the house was left in a tidy manner every evening before departing.

Jamie has just completed the fitting of a new kitchen for us as well as managing the building work that was required including new ceilings, plasterwork, plumbing, gas fitting, electrics and decorating. Overall the kitchen looks more aesthetically pleasing. However, the room is no more user friendly for my disabled husband. I am disappointed with the integrated appliances, as the fridge/freezer and dishwasher are much smaller than the ones we got rid of. Maybe we should have researched the items more ourselves before agreeing to buy them. The room is very echoy, now that we have painted plaster rather than wallpaper. Most of the tradesmen were very friendly, accommodating and tidy workers.

Difficult job made to look easy by first class tradesman.

JD Joinery fitted a kitchen not including the electrical appliance purchased from a well know national kitchen supplier/manufacturer. I first came into contact with J D Joinery when Jamie Dick visited the house to check the details of the computer image produced by the kitchen supplier. On looking at the image suggested JD made a number of suggestions relating to the layout explaining the reasoning behind the changes which I readily accepted. JD was contracted separately to re plaster all the walls and ceiling, electrical work, including a new electrical board to accommodate the new ratings for some of the appliances purchased, plumbing required other than that included in the original kitchen fit price, floor and wall tiling and post wall and ceiling plastering decoration and final 'refresh' following completion of all work. JD and the sub-contract team kept rigidly to their timetable, were extremely 'tidy' workers who cleaned up after each days work, were obviously all skilled professionals who took pride in what they were doing and kept me fully informed as to progress and reason for any change requirement no matter how small. On days when JD was not on site he would be in contact with me to see if there were any problems. The end product is a kitchen which is totally functional, extremely well built which I can now state, having used the kitchen for over a week, that it is completely functional, looks as good as we had hoped for and a joy to use.

J D Joinery has carried out two major projects for me - a garage conversion and intalling a new kitchen and utility room. In both cases the quality of the work and attention to details was exceptional. I would call Jamie Dick is a perfectionist - and this reflected in the quality of the work. In the case of the kitchen & utility room, J D Joinery project managed the whole job and I was impressed with the planning and forward thinking that went into the work. Finally they always came when they said they would and even texted me when they were going to be a bit late one day.

JD Joinery have just finished installing a complete new kitchen for us. A major piece of work which involved stripping the kitchen area back to the shell of the house and some building work as well. Internal walls were taken out and a new larger back door was installed. The project management was first class, as was the ongoing customer engagement as the job progressed. Minor amendments to the job as the project was underway were handled without fuss and with full consultation. We were also very pleased with the quality of the tradesmen used by JD Joinery at the various stages of the job - efficient, courteous, and above all good at what they do. Everyone took a pride in their work. JD Joinery went the 'extra mile' to get the job done and to ensure the customer was satisfied and I would have no hesitation recommending them to friends (in fact I've already done so). Finally Jamie, the proprietor, is very particular about the standard of workmanship. He has an eye for detail and for the quality of the finish - which is what you want when you engage someone to transform an important part of your living space.We are delighted with our new kitchen space -which is everything we hoped for.
