Following recent knee surgery ( arthroscopy meniscus) I underwent programme of rehabilitation. Initially this was provided by a physiotherapist, who helped me with mobility and range of movement however, my full recovery and confidence only returned after I followed a customised programme of strength set by Aimee (IPT Fitness) Aimee tailor made exercises which allowed me to return to my carrier as a dance fitness instructor and got me into the best condition I ever had in my 15 year career.
I was initially very unsure whether I would like a Personal Trainer, but was aware that I needed to do something about my ever growing waistline. I signed up with IPT Fitness and have really never looked back. I have lost 5kg and 9. 5% body fat, as well as 4 inches off my waist. It has not been without a lot of hard work both on my behalf and on IPT Fitness. I train once a week and am provided with training programs to do at home the rest of the time. I do not have any specialist equipment – the programs are tailored, so I can do my training in my living room. Every few weeks IPT Fitness change the programs to ensure I achieved the best results. On top of the training program I am provided with advice on diet and nutrition. I can not recommend IPT Fitness enough. They have made me enjoy exercising again and their constant support and encouragement has really helped me reach my goals. I have always seen myself as someone who was quite fit and healthy, playing football 2-3 times a week and generally eating well, however I never seemed to be able to lose the excess weight that I carried. I joined IPT Fitness just over 6 months ago and have been amazed with the results. When I started I weighed 81. 2kg, 65. 8kg of muscle, and had a body fat percentage of 19%. Since training with Mase, and working with Aimee on my diet, I have increased my muscle mass by over 3 kgs to 69kg, and dropped to 12% body fat, and have also lost 4 inches off my waist measurement. Working with Mase is brilliant: his enthusiasm and passion really helped me push to achieve my targets; and his knowledge and constant advice ensured that my goals were met. I have PT once a week with Mase, but he has developed me a training programme to complete at home, constantly changing and adapting the sessions so that I make the best progress. This, combined with Aimee’s fantastic dietary and nutrition advice, has really delivered fast results! I've exercised my whole life, and have worked with other trainers. The team at IPT is like no other. They are purely results focused and their catalogue of stock photos are frightening, they transform people… I've seen a few of their clients rapidly improve and I, myself am constantly being told how much more muscular I look. It's not a miracle though, you need to listen to what they tell you to eat and how much to train. Their guidance and support is superb though. Highly recommended!
Been training with Mase for nearly 2 years and getting fantastic nutritional advice from Aimee. As a Director of a business employing 30 people and with 3 young kids, I am now equipped with the energy and tools to being as productive as possible. The training and advice is top class and I have had experience of semi professional training as a younger lad. I could not recommend IPT more highly especially if you have a goal you want to achieve and need sympathetic, professional and considerate support on your way to achieving it. You won't regret it!
I do two PT sessions a week and one boot camp. I never thought I would enjoy weight training but I love it and what it has done for my body. Without really noticing it I have dropped two jeans sizes and have more defined muscle definition. I am much stronger than I was so other sports have improved as well - I play golf and ski. Aimee is unstintingly supportive, enthusiastic and very professional and knowledgeable about her trade. She constantly changes routines so that the boredom factor is never there. I love the peace of the gym as well, there are never more than two other trainers with clients so there is no queuing for equipment or sweaty machines! Another plus side is I have made some great friends along the way.
I've been training with Aimee for about 18mths. As a health professional I have a degree of knowledge on physiology and nutrition so really appreciate Aimee's scientific approach to training and nutrition - she knows her stuff and if you follow her advice you will get results! I have also been impressed by Aimee's ability to keep me motivated. I never thought I would ever have a personal trainer but I have a busy work and home life and feel it is a really good investment in my health and well being. I train twice a week with Aimee, 2 x 30minute sessions and attend Mase's Bootcamp class on Saturday morning. Aimee and her team are warm, welcoming, encouraging but also fun. I can highly recommend Aimee and IPT fitness!
