Indigo Surveys

We ordered the tree survey from this company. The business provided an itemised quote of which survey was just one line. They then later carried on with “services” beyond the initial paid surveys and demanded payment for all items of their quote. When challenged, they just insisted we must pay. I recommend to use other companies that have more transparency when dealing with customers.

Indigo have always proved very responsive, no matter what survey or work has been commissioned by us. We have always found their office staff and surveyors to be very pleasant to deal with and they have never failed to deliver to deadlines set.

Indigo was a lucky find for us and they provided an excellent service from start to finish. We received good telephone advice in our initial enquiry (with Andrew Turnbull) and subsequently commissioned a report. The report was comprehensive – excellent independent information backed up with good quality diagrams and photographs. Indigo Surveys were contracted to perform an arboricultural survey on a prospective property purchase, in order to establish the influence of two big trees on the structural integrity of the property. They were significantly cheaper than competitors but provided a thoroughly professional and comprehensive service. They produced a professional report which was e-mailed the day after the survey and followed up with a telephone call/e-mail to see if there were any other issues to be discussed. Would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Indigo Surveys Ltd were commissioned to examine and writ a report on the possible effects of an existing tree on a proposed extension to a property in Highbury, N London as part of the planning process. A site visit was made at very short notice, and the report followed very soon after. Planning Permission was eventually granted and the works will start shortly.

I needed an arboriculturist and an ecologist for surveys on my land. Indigo Surveys quoted for a tree survey and a habitat survey and I decided to use them to make things more simple. Their team were really helpful, they carried out a "BS5837 arboricultural survey" and a "phase 1 habitat survey" on the land and got the reports to me as agreed. I would recommend this company to others.

I needed and Arboriculturist and Ecological Consultant for a residential/commercial development and was recommended to call Indigo Surveys. Andrew Turnbull advised me that I needed a BS 5837:2005 Tree Survey and Tree Report and an Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey; I got a quote the following day. The Tree Survey and Ecology Survey were carried out the following week and the Tree Report and Ecology Report were available within the timeframe I requested; everyone I spoke to was really helpful with my queries. I would definitely recommend Indigo Surveys as a Tree Consultancy and/or Ecological Consultancy and would use them again on future sites.

Whilst I only had a report carried out on a single tree I must say that Andrew Turnball and his team at Indigo surveys were most helpful. Furthermore, I can confirm it was completed ahead of time, fit for purpose and at the agreed costs originally quoted. I would definitely recommend and use again personally.
