My wife found a photograph in our loft, it was dusty and had suffered heat damage. It was the image of her mother as a child taken in C1909. We had doubts that it could be effectively restored. It was so delicate that we decided to deliver it by hand to "Image Restore". We drove 26 miles to hand over the photograph to Neil the proprietor of "Image Restore". We waited 10 minutes and the photo was handed back to us, Neil having scanned it. Within two days proofs were e-mailed to us. We were astounded at the quality and clarity of the picture and when the actual print was delivered to us via Royal Mail three days later we were even more impressed. The photo could have been taken yesterday, you would never have believed that the image was 116 years old. Thank you Neil, it was magic.Moreexpand_more
We emailed Neil an image of a very old, badly damaged photo of my husband's grandfather in military uniform from WW1. There were creases and marks across the whole photo. I uploaded it following the easy instructions on Neil's website - to ensure the optimum scanned image. The result was absolutely amazing. Neil sent back a pristine photo that had no marks at all - it looked brand new. We also asked for two photos to be posted to us. This was all dealt with promptly, efficiently and with excellent customer service - as well as being cost effective. We can't recommend Neil highly enough and will certainly use his services again without hesitation.
I had an old photo which was faded, not well framed, and marred by a shadowy line across part. After an initial hiccup with the system and delivery of the photo Neil responded very quickly with a proof for assessment. The cost was, to my mind, very reasonable, and after payment the corrected image was sent to me the same day. I am delighted with the process and result, and will have no hesitation in using Neil in the future.
This company was recommended to me. I sent a 2001 digital photo I needed improving, staying that it needed to be a subtle clean up that maintained the 'authenticity' of the photo. They replied promptly and quoted £25. The work they did was exactly what I wanted and was completed quickly. I'd happily recommend the company for their courtesy, efficiency and attention to detail.

I hadn't believed it would be possible to restore the photo of my grandfather taken in the early 1880s wearing the uniform of the Birmingham Blue Coat School. The photo had been badly torn, scrached anthe bottom right area qas missing Neil has restored it perfectly and the colours are exact I thought the cost qas very reasonable and the turn round quick. I shall certainly use his services again.
I sent in a scan of an old photo that had faded significantly after years of sun exposure and asked if it could be restored. Neil brought it back beautifully, and the whole process took less than a day - just a few hours, really. I also ordered prints, and they turned out great. Highly recommended.
I asked for an old photo of my brother and his dog to be repaired and enhanced. Everything was completed to my satisfaction and I received both a digital and hard copy of the photograph. I received an email telling me that the repaired photo had been posted and I received it shortly after that. Really good service - would recommend.
We reached out to Neil to restore and enlarge an old photo but were not really expecting it to be possible. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. Perfect! Thank you Neil.
This is the second time I have used Neil Rhodes to restore old photographs and again I am thrilled with the results. The cost was more than worth the emotional value of these images. Neil's communications were speedy and effective. I cannot recommend this service highly enough to anyone wanting their precious old photos restored.
