Image Matters

Five of us got together with Jane to talk all things colour. It was informative and interesting to get clarity on which colours worked best for each of us. The rail of clothing styles to refer to was useful too. I definitely recommend getting a group of friends together to do a similar analysis session!

I visited Jane after she gave a very informative talk at our WI meeting She is extremely personable, very friendly and full of knowledge. She gave me lots of useful advice on what I should be wearing to bring out the best in my shape and colouring and also advice on a couple of items I took along. As a woman of an age when you are not sure what suits you anymore Jane really is a font of knowledge.

I went into see Jane at Image Matters for a makeup consultation with an open mind, not knowing what to expect, I was a bit nervous, I needn't have been, I was greeted with a friendly smile and Jane put me at ease straight away with her chatty nature. I had a very instructive time, learning how to apply the different products. Even my partner noticed when he got home and he was the acid test :). Jane offers a wide range of services and I will certainly be in contact with her with regards to those. Thank you Jane, and I look forward to meeting up with you soon.

Had a lovely day with Jayne and Image matters. We moved from colours to make up to image and then to clothes try on. Jayne then emailed me with some ideas and labels I might like. This has all been really useful and I have had a wardrobe clear out of the things I knew didn't really suit me but now know why. Heading for more of a capsule wardrobe from now on. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Jane helped me with finding colours and styles that I would have not had the confidence to choose on my own. The top I chose I always have as my go to top when I do virtual meetings and it gives me a real confidence boost. Through Jane I have found my love of clothes again! In my mid sixties when I first met Jane I was very much stuck in a rut - not knowing what suited me anymore, what to buy and wearing clothes far too big for me to hide my "tummy". By firstly doing a wardrobe makeover and showing me how to wear clothes to suit my shape and petite frame I started to feel more confidence. Then through this year Jane has helped me to find amazing clothes that really suit me, fit me and make me feel fantastic. I really value her opinion and experience and I've been able to wear my new and old clothes (not the oversized tops - they went to the charity shop) with ease and confidence. Jane has completed a style and colour analysis for me. Not only was Jane very professional in her approach, she also listened to my point of view and answered my questions so that I felt happy, comfortable and confident with the outcomes and possibilities for my wardrobe. Working with Jane has changed the way I manage my wardrobe as well as improved my style confidence. I now buy clothes more carefully and selectively and this has resulted in a better use of my clothes budget along with some very positive comments from others.
