About ICA:UK
ICA:UK is a registered charity in England and Wales and a statutory member of the Institute of Cultural Affairs International (ICAI) - a global network of organisations helping people to bring about positive change in their communities and groups through facilitation. ICA:UK provides public and in-house facilitation training around the UK and also supports partners in Europe and Africa, the management of the Village Volunteers sponsorship fund, citizen activists in the UK and carries out research into the impact of facilitation.
ICA:UK provide 1-2-day public and tailored in-house facilitation training courses in the Technology of Participation (ToP) methods. Versatile and reliable, the ToP methods are designed to bring out the best in the diversity and dynamics of any working group. The methods allow both expert and novice facilitators to maintain a group’s focus, actively involve all its members and skillfully guide them to reaching their given objectives. ICA:UK believe that when people’s voices are heard and their differences valued, honest and meaningful conversations can take place, resulting in people who are more productive, committed and engaged in the work they do.
