Ian does the gardening for me He is always very prompt and the work is always carried out to an excellent standard and very good value for money.

Ian Nightingale was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I went with with his recommendation. Ian has always been very hard working and efficient. I contacted Ian as I needed my garden tidying up after moving in. He cam e round to give me an initial assessment and discuss what work was required. I found this immensely helpful as I hadn't done a lot of gardening previously. This also meant that I could discuss future options, and ways to maintain once he was completed. The work was completed to an exceptional standard, and in a very fast time frame. On the back of a small comment I made about the front of the garden Ian even brought round some plants he had picked up that day to help brighten things up. I would strongly recommend Ian and have done myself to friends and family already.

Ian worked in my garden recently, cutting and trimming shrubs, replacing weeds with new layers of turf and cleaning the borders to my satisfaction. All this was done for reasonable price and time. He is very knowledgeable and suggested a set of plants by emailing me very useful links. He is reliable, polite and very friendly. I am very happy and satisfied with Ian's services and would definitely recommend him.

Ian cut the Ivy on the high wall that borders our garden and pruned a number of shrubs. He suggested a set of plants to replace some of the shrubs which had begun to outgrow the garden. The garden was rather a mess before he came and is now tidy and set for the winter. Dealing with Ian was a real pleasure, and he was reliable and friendly. We are very happy with Ian's services and would definitely employ him again. Highly recommended!

Ian has worked on my garden for two years and had slowly transformed it from a messy overgrown jungle into a tidy smart place we are proud to show to our friends and family. He always does what he says he will do and often more for the same money, and is very knowledgeable about plants and gardening in general. Hugely recommended if he can fit you in!

I used Ian Nightingale because he had already done a good job for my daughter. My back garden border had become overgrown, as had the hedge in my front garden. Ian trimmed the hedge to my satisfaction and did a great job in the back - cutting the hedge back and trimming the shrubs in an attractive way. He also got rid of the weeds. All this was done for a reasonable price and in a fraction of the time I would have taken to do the work (which I could not have done so well). I should now be able to keep on top of things again. He also kindly suggested some plants which would enhance the appearance of my back garden (which I have now bought and planted). He also kept me informed by promptly replying to any queries by email.

Ian has pruned my garden and shaped it. On just a couple of visits he has transformed my garden. I am looking forward to his next visit and is very pleased that I found him.

Ian has been mowing lawns and maintaining herbaceous borders for my mother-in law since March 2014. She used to be a keen gardeber but is no longer able to do these jobs herself. Ian is a sympathetic and understanding person who has continued to involve my mother-in-law in her garden. She enjoys his visits, has complete trust in him and is very pleased with the standard of work. From my perspective, Ian is organised and lets me know when work has been completed.
