My husband and I chose Ian Bursill Photography as we wanted a non intrusive, but intimate record of our wedding day. Ian gave a very professional, flexible sevice, adapting to the shifting timings on the day. The finished products, in the form of an album and DVD of photographs, were exceptional. I honestly do not remember what Ian did on the rainy and gloomy december morning when my husband and i got married. But one thing for sure, Ian did one heck of a job with his camera. Our wedding photos is superb as in result and quality. He captured us and our guess arriving in the rain and make it look very cheerful as if the rain was intended to make the occasion look better.

Ian photographed our wedding and worked with us from months before-hand up until when we got back from honeymoon to make sure that we got all of the snaps that we wanted and that we were happy with his work. He stayed longer than we expected him to on the day so that he could capture more special moments and was a pleasure to work with. Not to mention that he has got a great eye for the perfect shot and manages to capture the moment perfectly. He is very talented and reasonably priced - I'd definitely recommend him.

Ian photographed my wedding in March 2008 and he really captured the spirit of the day. We gave him free rein to take candid shots and he exceeded our high expectations - judging from some of the pics, he's got some kind of invisibility device! Ian is a real people person - he took lots of time before the wedding to find out about our needs and he was lovely and inobtrusive on the day. Ian photographed our wedding in August 2007 in Cambridge. We were incredibly impressed with Ian's preparation, style and our final album. We met with Ian before our wedding and discussed the plan for the day, the type of pictures we wanted and the setting. This was invaluable and enabled Ian to ensure that he had special lighting equipment to take photographs in the candlelit hall where we had our evening meal and riverside shots of our departure at night. We asked for a few traditional group photographs but really wanted natural journalistic shots capturing and telling the story of our wedding day. Ian's style was entirely unobtrusive and our guests later told us that they did not notice most of the photographs being taken. We did not want to have a photographer who dominated the proceedings and limited the time we could spend with our guests - Ian ensured that this did not happen. Ian involved us throughout the design of the album and was happy to make the small changes we wanted and to remind us of the various options available. We actually chose to extend our album by an extra ten pages so that we could show the photographs off to their best effect. The ease of ordering additional pictures to frame or give as presents was also appreciated. Our photographs are spectacular and really distinctive. Ian has an excellent eye for framing the images and selecting shots which are fresh and exciting. Ian Bursill photography carried out wedding photo's. Ian was a real pleasure to work with. Prior to our wedding he took time to understand our requirements and on the day he struck the perfect balance of ensuring we got the pictures we wanted without disrupting guests and the atmosphere of the day.
