Andy has decent reviews here, and is local to Moseley so after a brief amicable chat I was perfectly happy to proceed with his services. Andy had built his quote on not just providing drawings but helping through the whole process of Planning/Permits, builders etc… for this extension for a growing family. His drawings seemed reasonable enough and he said that we'd just need to get Council and freehold permission and we could proceed so we made the submissions. Unfortunately Andy had not picked up on the basic fact that the extension area required for the Title boundaries to be extended even though he said he had checked the Title - the payment to buy this land from the Freehold I had of course not budgeted for. On his advice I had also made a Planning submission in the meantime costing hundreds of pounds which turned out non-refundable. Andy had already taken payment for all his drawings at this point and they were now useless as I could not proceed. He had also gone completely quiet for several months at the beginning for what turned out to be a personal issue which is fine, but he had not communicated at all in this period and it's only after I said I wanted to pull the job did he respond (albeit with a small discount and a promise not to go AWOL again). When I brought all this up at the end he just he said he must have looked at out-dated Titles and made no recourse or any further replies to my messages/emails. He had my payments as had the council and the extension was now almost GBP 800 in with nothing to show and I would not be proceeding. I don't like writing up negative experiences but I felt a community duty that others know of this situation before they go into Business with Andy or give him any money up-front. Hunt Architects were highly professional in the design of the conversion of an old gym into a performing arts centre. It was a challenging project and the final solution was striking in appearance whilst being practical in its use. The build was managed with close attention to detail and any difficult conversations were dealt with by Andy and his team. Visitors are still impressed when they enter the building and we all still love it.

I have worked with Andy and his team on numerous school projects. I like their consultative and level headed approach to difficult projects, and I have been extremely impressed by their attention to detail. I look forward to working with them on my next project.

Hunt Architects were commissioned by our school Governors to design a new Entrance Reception, Admin area and Head Teacher office/conference room, with storage rooms and wall cupboards throughout. Andy Hunt was very professional and easy to work with, he kept us informed at each stage. We really liked the creative ideas that he had to transform this part of the school using colours that we would not have thought of and cleaver use of natural light. The school is very happy with the results and would recommend Hunt Architects for similar work.

Hunt Architects designed our patio area at The Old Bush Callow End Worcester, The area was a sloping grassed basically useless part of the pub garden. The patio has transformed our garden and the levels and steps work perfectly. A brilliant job thank you.

We employed Andy to draw the plans for an extension to our bungalow. We found Andy to be very approachable and easy to work with. Andy sorted out several issues with our local planning department which made for a stress free application for planning. I would recommend Andy to anyone looking for a professional and approachable architect.

We employed Andy to help us plan the structural and internal layout of a new kitchen diner. We had spent the previous year dithering, not being able to make key decisions about the placement of windows/doors as well as how the room should be used. Very quickly Andy helped us to focus on what we needed from the new space and the structural layout then seemed obvious. We would strongly recommend Andy to anyone considering a change to their home.

Andy designed and drew plans for a large kitchen extension including plans for an adjoining wet room. Andy was professional and helpful and there were no problems or delays, we were extremely pleased with the service.
