Hungerford Arcade is a very beautiful building which is rich in history. Parts of it dates back to the 1300s. Oliver Cromwell stationed his troops here and Elizbeth the 1st has also been in the area. People love this old building which stands at the very heart of Hungerford.
Hungerford Antiques Arcade was one of the first, if not the first antiques centres in the UK and in 2022 will celebrate its 50th anniversary. It was officially the UK's Best Antique Centre as voted for by readers of the BBC's Homes and Antiques magazine.
